Biografi

Sebagai pakar Gizi dan Kesehatan-Nutrigenomik, Prof. Dr. Ari Yuniastuti, M.Kes tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian berbasis Nutrigenomik. Penelitian Gizi Secara Komprehensif Berbasis Nutrigenomik Dan Kesehatan Masyarakat Dalam Upaya Penurunan Dan Pencegahan Stunting yang dilakukan melalui pendanaan RIIM-BRIN menunjukkan bahwa nutrisi sangat mempengaruhi Kesehatan, utamanya peran nutrisi secara spesifik dalam regulasi ekspresi gen. Berdasarkan kode genetik masing-masing individu, maka dapat diramalkan pola konsumsi makan untuk pengoptimalisasi ekspresi gen-gen tertentu di dalamnya yang akan mempengaruhi kesehatan manusia. Selain itu, Prof Ari Yuniastuti juga melakukan berbagai penelitian terkait senyawa bioaktif dari tanaman yang bermnafaat untuk kesehatan, serta penelitian tentang kehalalan produk makanan.
