Perpustakaan Unnes Layani Digital Library

Keberadaan digital library sangat penting dan efektif dalam meningkatkan layanan perpustakaan saat ini. Mahasiswa dan atau pengguna tidak lagi antri bahkan bingung mencari koleksi yang diinginkan, dan rela menghabiskan waktu mencari dokumen manual. Namun cukup klik judul yang diinginkan, sudah tersaji materi yang diinginkan.

untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut, Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Perpustakaan Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) mengadakan Bimbingan Teknis Manajemen Digital Library (Digilib), penekanan pada pengisian data halaman ke-3 pada Digilib. Pelatihan diikuti oleh seluruh Staff UPT Perpustakaan, Sabtu-Minggu (28-29/9) di Hotel Belle View Semarang.

Digital Library merupakan repository perpustakaan Unnes yang menyediakan koleksi-koleksi digitalnya. Dalam tahap awal koleksi yang dilayankan masih berupa soft copy skripsi hasil karya mahasiswa Unnes.

Hal ini sesuai kebijakan UPT Perpustakaan Unnes, sejak tahun 2011 tidak menerima skripsi mahasiswa yang akan lulus kuliah dalam bentuk tercetak, namun hanya menerima soft copy.

Koleksi-koleksi tersebut dapat diakses mahasiswa Unnes maupun masyarakat umum pengguna jasa layanan perpustakaan secara full text dengan mengakses di laman http://lib.unnes.ac.id.

Kegiatan yang menjadi titik akselerasi perkembangan perpustakaan di era digital ini, menghadirkan nara sumber Programer Aji Purwinarko SPd.

Sementara itu, Kepala UPT Perpustakaan Unnes Dr Sutikno ST MT saat acara penutupan menyampaikan, hasil dari kegiatan ini tentu akan meningkatkan layanan prima di UPT Perpustakaan Unnes.
