Perluas Jejaring Global, Fakultas Teknik UNNES Jalin Kerja Sama Internasional dengan NEUST Filipina

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) resmi menjalin kemitraan internasional dengan Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) Filipina. Penandatanganan Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) dilaksanakan pada 3 September 2025 di Mini Convention Center NEUST.

Presiden NEUST, Dr. Rhodora Jugo, dalam sambutannya menyampaikan antusiasme atas kolaborasi ini.

“Melalui kerja sama ini, kami berharap dapat membuka lebih banyak peluang penelitian bersama, pengembangan dosen dan mahasiswa, serta program berbasis masyarakat yang memberi dampak berkelanjutan bagi masyarakat dan dunia,” ujarnya.

Berdasarkan kesepakatan tersebut, UNNES dan NEUST akan mengimplementasikan program timbal balik untuk memperluas penawaran akademik, menyediakan kesempatan studi di luar negeri bagi mahasiswa, serta membangun kompetensi lintas budaya.

Setiap tahun, kedua perguruan tinggi akan melaksanakan minimal satu riset kolaboratif yang mencakup penelitian bersama, publikasi terindeks, konferensi akademik, hingga penelitian berbasis masyarakat. Selain itu, pertukaran dosen juga menjadi agenda tahunan, di mana dosen terpilih dari kedua institusi akan memberikan kuliah tamu, baik secara luring maupun daring, guna memperkaya keberagaman pedagogis dan meningkatkan mutu akademik.

Hadir dalam penandatanganan MoA tersebut antara lain Atty. Bembol Castillo, Penasihat Hukum sekaligus Wakil Presiden Bidang Bisnis, Administrasi, dan Keuangan NEUST; serta Ar. Gregorio Villaviza Jr., Dekan Fakultas Arsitektur, bersama jajaran dosen, tenaga kependidikan, dan mahasiswa.

Sementara itu, UNNES diwakili oleh Ir. Didik Nopianto Agung Nugradi, M.T., Koordinator Program Studi Teknik Arsitektur, bersama Dr. Lulut Indrianingrum, S.T., M.T.; Wiwit Setyowati, S.T., M.Sc.; Sherley Ika Christanti, M.Arch.; serta empat mahasiswa pertukaran: Hanif Radifan Musyafa, Aliya Zuhrotul Husna, Areno Bernadi Putra, dan Ratna Safitri.

Kegiatan ini juga mendukung capaian SDG 17 (Partnerships to Achieve the Goals), menjadikan kerja sama ini berskala internasional sekaligus memperkuat reputasi UNNES di kancah global.
