Peringati Dies Natalis ke-59, UNNES Akan Pentaskan “Cakra Manggilingan”

Dosen, karyawan, dan mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) akan menyuguhkan pementasan seni yang menggabungkan berbagai bentuk elemen seni dalam satu panggung di Kampung Budaya UNNES, Sekaran, Gunungpati, Kota Semarang, Jumat (14 Juni 2024), pukul 19.30 WIB. Pementasan bertajuk “Cakra Manggilingan” ini akan menampilkan perpaduan harmonis antara wayang kulit, wayang golek, drama tari, musik, peragaan busana, hingga wushu.

Ketua Panitia Dies Natalis ke-59, Prof Dr Wirawan Sumbodo, menyatakan pementasan “Cakra Manggilingan” merupakan kolaborasi seni yang unik, mengusung tema tentang siklus kehidupan dan kebijaksanaan. “Cakra Manggilingan” sendiri diambil dari filosofi Jawa yang menggambarkan roda kehidupan yang terus berputar, mengajarkan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang mendalam. “Kami mengundang masyarakat luas untuk datang menyaksikan pementasan ini yang akan menyajikan elemen seni yang diramu secara menarik,” ujar Dekan Fakultas Teknik UNNES itu, Kamis (13/06/2024).

Pertunjukan akan menghadirkan tiga dalang mahasiswa UNNES, yaitu Dimas Ageng (mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa), Asep Wadi (mahasiswa Prodi Doktor Pendidikan Seni), dan Adhitya Bayu (mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa).

Tidak hanya itu, pementasan “Cakra Manggilingan” juga akan menampilkan drama tari yang menjadi kesatuan dengan pertunjukan. Kolaborasi ini akan menghadirkan tari klasik maupun kontemporer yang dipadukan dengan alunan gamelan dan musik modern, menciptakan kreasi seni yang sarat makna. Dengan gerakan tari yang indah dan ekspresif, para penari menyampaikan pesan-pesan filosofis kepada penonton.

Pelaksana kegiatan, Dr. Widodo Brotosejati, menyatakan pentas kolaborasi menjadi agenda rutin bagi UNNES untuk mewadahi bakat dan minat civitas akademika. Menurutnya, kampus terus memaksimalkan potensi terbaik dosen dan mahasiswa agar terus berkembang dan menjadi karakter. Ini sejalan dengan visi UNNES yang berkomitmen mengembangkan konservasi nilai dan karakter yang sesuai dengan budaya bangsa.

“Kami berharap acara ini dapat menjadi ajang untuk melestarikan dan mempromosikan budaya bangsa kepada generasi muda serta menginspirasi masyarakat untuk lebih mencintai dan menghargai budaya khas milik Indonesia,” ujar dosen FBS UNNES itu
