Peringatan Dies Natalis Ke-16 PPs Unnes

Tidak terasa, 16 tahun Program  Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Semarang (PPs Unnes) berkiprah dalam upaya melahirkan magister dan doktor. PPs Unnes memperingati Dies Natalis ke-16 dengan tema “Aktualisasi Program Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Semarang sebagai Pelopor Publikasi Ilmiah.”

Jumat (17/5), kampus ramai oleh mahasiswa, dosen, dan staf PPs yang menghadiri Senam Sehat dalam pembukaan dies natalis. Secara resmi Pelaksana tugas (Plt) Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) Dr Agus Wahyudin MSi membuka acara dengan pemotongan tumpeng dan pelepasan balon dibantu oleh Direktur PPs Prof Dr Samsudi MPd dan pejabat lainnya.

Plt Rektor  juga menyampaikan, dari tahun ke tahun penyelenggaraan PPs  Unnes selalu meningkat. Banyak institusi yang mengharapkan kerjasama dalam penerimaan mahasiswa, namun Unnes selalu berpegang teguh pada ketaatasasan dan peraturan. Ini bukti PPs Unnes mendapatkan apresiasi dari masyarakat.

Mulai  2013, PPs Unnes akan mewujudkan rasio ideal dosen dan mahasiswa dengan meningkatkan kualifikasi dosen serta sarana prasarana.

Alhamdulillah, banyak dosen Unnes yang melanjutkan kuliah ke luar negeri.  Pelan-pelan memacu jumlah mahasiswa untuk melanjutkan S2 diimbangi dengan tenaga dosen yang berkualitas. Insya Allah, PPs berada satu arah menuju universitas konservasi bertaraf internasional yang sehat dan unggul,” ungkap Drs Agus Wahyudin M Si dalam sambutannya.

Acara Senam Sehat dimeriahkan dengan lomba tarik tambang, lomba bakiak dan pensil gila yang diikuti mahasiswa dan staf PPs. Peserta juga dimanjakan dengan pijat releksi yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan.

Rangkaian Dies Natalis ke-16 PPs Unnes dimeriahkan dengan Seminar Nasional, Lomba Karya Tulis Ilmiah, Pameran Karya Seni dan lomba-lomba lainnya. Acara puncak, bakti sosial dan pentas seni pada Kamis  (30/5) mendatang di kampus Bendan Ngisor.

  2. mohon untuk diperhatikan dengan seksama untuk penulisan gelar akademik, bukan kah Plt Rektor UNNES sudah mendapatkan gelar Doktor (Dr) dari Pascasarjana UNDIP? kok masih ditulis (Drs) dalam artikel berita ini?
