Penuh Kemeriahan, UNNES Buka Rangkaian Dies Natalis ke-60

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) merayakan pembukaan Dies Natalis ke-60 dengan penuh semangat dan kemeriahan. Kegiatan yang digelar pada Kamis, (20/02/2025) bertempat di Lapangan Prof. Dirham dan Lapangan Rektorat UNNES ini menjadi ajang untuk refleksi dan merayakan pencapaian UNNES selama enam dekade.

Mengusung tema “UNNES Berkualitas Menuju Indonesia Emas”, kegiatan ini menekankan pentingnya kualitas pendidikan dalam mewujudkan Indonesia yang lebih baik di masa depan. Pembukaan acara dimulai dengan kegiatan defile oleh dosen dan tenaga kependidikan, diikuti dengan karnaval oleh para mahasiswa dari masing-masing fakultas, sekolah pascasarjana, serta unit kerja di lingkungan UNNES. Defile dan karnaval tersebut menggambarkan beragam kreativitas dan semangat kebersamaan seluruh sivitas akademika UNNES.

Rektor UNNES, Prof. Dr. S. Martono, M.Si., dalam sambutannya menyampaikan harapan besar bagi UNNES. “Kita upayakan UNNES menjadi lebih baik, sesuai dengan tema Dies Natalis kali ini, UNNES Berkualitas Menuju Indonesia Emas,” ujar Guru Besar FEB UNNES itu. Harapan tersebut mencerminkan tekad UNNES untuk terus mengedepankan kualitas pendidikan yang berdaya saing, serta berkontribusi dalam mencapai visi Indonesia Emas.

Sementara itu, Ketua Panitia Kegiatan Dies Natalis ke-60 UNNES, Dr. Taufiq Hidayah, M.Kes., menjelaskan acara ini merupakan kegiatan rutin tahunan yang selalu dinantikan. “Dies Natalis tahun ini memiliki makna khusus karena bertepatan dengan Lustrum ke-XII, yang menandai perjalanan panjang UNNES dalam memberikan kontribusi besar pada dunia pendidikan,” ungkap Dekan Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan UNNES itu.

Serangkaian kegiatan menarik turut memeriahkan acara pembukaan, salah satunya adalah demo olahraga dari atlet berprestasi cabang olahraga Panahan. Selain itu, kolaborasi empat cabang beladiri, yakni Wushu, Pencak Silat, Tarung Derajat, dan Taekwondo, juga turut memukau para pengunjung dengan berbagai atraksi dan keahlian yang luar biasa.

Tak kalah menarik, penyerahan Sertifikat Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HKI) untuk Senam UNNES MAJU menjadi salah satu momen spesial pada acara ini. Para peserta juga mengikuti senam bersama yang dilakukan secara serentak, menambah semangat dan keceriaan di tengah suasana perayaan.

Sebagai puncak acara pembukaan, kegiatan jalan sehat bersama yang dimulai dari Lapangan Prof. Dirham hingga Lapangan Rektorat UNNES turut meriahkan suasana. Acara ini juga diselingi dengan hiburan musik dan pembagian doorprize seperti sepeda motor, sepeda listrik, laptop, TV LED, almari es, mesin cuci, smartwatch, dan ratusan hadiah lainnya.
