Pentingkan Etika dan Kualitas, FBS UNNES Gelar Workshop Penulisan Akademik Berbasis AI secara Etis

Program Studi Magister Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Universitas Negeri Semarang (FBS UNNES) menyelenggarakan workshop bertajuk “Pembimbingan Penggunaan AI sebagai Alat Bantu Penulisan Akademik Sesuai Panduan Kemdiktisaintek”, pada Senin (6/5/2025), di Ruang Bundar, Gedung Dekanat FBS UNNES.

Kegiatan ini diampu oleh Dr. Eko Rahardjo, M.Hum., Wakil Dekan I FBS UNNES, serta diikuti oleh mahasiswa dan dosen di lingkungan Program Magister Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris. Workshop ini bertujuan membekali mahasiswa dengan keterampilan pemanfaatan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) dalam penulisan akademik secara etis dan efektif.

Berbagai aplikasi AI yang mendukung penulisan ilmiah dikenalkan kepada peserta, antara lain: WriteHuman.ai untuk menghumanisasi teks hasil AI, Scite.ai untuk pemetaan sitasi dan evaluasi literatur, SciSpace untuk menyederhanakan teks akademik yang kompleks, Smodin untuk parafrase dan pengembangan ide, ChatGPT untuk pengembangan gagasan dan penulisan konten, Grammarly untuk pengecekan tata bahasa dan gaya penulisan, serta Quillbot untuk mendukung parafrase dan ringkasan.

Sebagai bentuk komitmen terhadap peningkatan literasi digital, Program Studi Magister Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris juga memberikan akses Grammarly Premium secara gratis kepada seluruh mahasiswa dan dosen untuk mendukung penulisan yang akurat, terstruktur, dan kredibel.

Melalui demonstrasi langsung, praktik penggunaan, dan sesi konsultasi terbuka, peserta diajak mengaplikasikan alat-alat tersebut dalam proyek penulisan akademik yang sedang dikerjakan. Dalam kegiatan ini juga ditekankan pentingnya etika penggunaan AI serta kepatuhan terhadap kebijakan Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi, Sains, dan Teknologi (Kemdiktisaintek) dalam menjaga integritas akademik.

Workshop ini sejalan dengan komitmen UNNES sebagai universitas berwawasan konservasi dan bereputasi internasional dalam mendukung pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), khususnya SDG nomor 4: Pendidikan Berkualitas.

Melalui kegiatan ini, UNNES terus menunjukkan peran aktif dalam menyiapkan sumber daya manusia unggul yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi dan tetap menjunjung tinggi orisinalitas, integritas, serta mutu akademik.
