Penting, Teknologi Pendidikan untuk Pembangunan Pendidikan

Secara faktual keberadaan pengembang teknologi pendidikan di satuan pendidikan sangat diperlukan. Terutama dalam upaya mendampingi guru dalam meningkatkan kompetensi dirinya, mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran, metode, media, dan juga instrumen penilaian. Selain itu teknolog pendidikan diperlukan sebagai tim penjaga gawang quality improvement di satuan pendidikan.

Hal tersebut mengemuka dalam diskusi pada Seminar Nasional “Kontribusi Teknologi Pendidikan dalam Pembangunan Pendidikan” yang diselenggarakan oleh Program Studi Teknologi Pendidikan FIP Unnes. Acara yang dihelat pada Sabtu, 13 Juni 2015 tersebut menghadirkan Bapak Teknologi Pendidikan Indonesia Prof. (Em.) Dr. Yusufhadi Miarso, M.Sc., Dra. Dewi Salma Prawiradilaga, M.Sc. (UNJ), Hari Wuljanto, S.Pd., M.Si (Dinas Pendidikan Jawa Tengah), dan Prof. Haryono, M.Psi (PD I FIP Unnes).

Pada kesempatan tesebut, Prof. Yusufhadi menyatakan, “Teknologi pendidikan memiliki cakupan bidang keilmuan dan bidang kerja yang sangat luas, baik pada pendidikan formal maupun informal.”

Senada dengan itu Prof. Haryono menambahkan bahwa teknologi pendidikan dapat makin memperluas dan memperkuat perannya dengan mengupayakan pelembagaan teknologi pendidikan di satuan pendidikan. “Agar satuan pendidikan dapat betul-betul terjaga dan selalu meningkat kualitas gurunya, pembelajarannya, perangkat pembelajarannya, media pembelajarannya, maka perlu tenaga teknologi pendidikan di sekolah,” ujar Guru Besar Teknologi Pendidikan tersebut.

Acara tersebut merupakan rangkaian agenda yang didahului oleh temu kolegial Program Studi Teknologi Pendidikan seindonesia pada hari sebelumnya. Delegasi yang hadir antara lain dari Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), Universitas Negeri Malang (UM), Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP), Universitas Kutai Kartanegara (Unikarta), Universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara (Univet Bantara), dan Universitas Palangkaraya (Unpar).

Pada temu kolegial tersebut disepakati beberapa hal berkaitan dengan upaya pengembangan dan peningkatan kerjasama antar Prodi Teknologi Pendidikan seindonesia. Antara lain pengembangan jurnal ilmiah akademik, penelitian dan penulisan buku bersama, serta penjajagan potensi pertukaran dosen dan mahasiswa.

Edi Subkhan, ketua panitia acara temu kolegial dan seminar nasional tersebut menyatakan bahwa selain menghasilkan beberapa kesepakatan penting antar Prodi Teknologi Pendidikan seindonesia, acara tersebut juga memiliki arti penting bagi pihak Prodi Teknologi Pendidikan FIP Unnes. Karena pada forum temu kolegial tersebut Prodi Teknologi Pendidikan FIP Unnes juga mendapat banyak masukan berkaitan dengan pengembangan kurikulum 2015. “Hal penting lain di forum temu kolegial dan seminar nasional ini adalah gagasan dari kami bahwa sekolah perlu tim pengembang dari teknologi pendidikan dapat disebarluaskan ke semua peserta delegasi temu kolegial dan peserta seminar,” imbuhnya.
