Pentaskan Lakon “Tangis”, Teater Usmar Ismail Menggebrak Semarang

Keriuhan ratusan orang di gedung B6 Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Unnes mendadak menjadi hening ketika tiba-tiba ruangan berubah gelap dan terdengar suara tangisan yang misterius.

Rupanya tangisan itu merupakan teror yang melanda Juragan Abiyoso, pemilik perusahaan batik termasyur di kotanya. Sejak meninggalnya Muspro, perlahan namun pasti perusahaan batik milik Abiyoso semakin mendekati kebangkrutan.

Sahabat sekaligus manager perusahan batik Abiyoso ini ditemukan tewas gantung diri karena malu atas kegagalan dalam proses kerja sama. Selama ini Muspro dinilai sangat baik dalam mengelola dan mengembangkan perusahaan. Sayangnya, kemalangan menimpanya. Spekulasi yang dilakukan Muspro kelewat berani hingga ia tertipu.

Prasojo, anak Muspro dipilih sebagai penggantinya karena ia dinilai telah mampu untuk memegang kepercayaan ini. Sedangkan Pangajab yang merupakan anaknya hanya dijadikan mandor. Konfik dalam keluarga tak terhindarkan lagi hingga pada akhirnya perusahaan batik dibakar. Terkuak alasan kenapa Prasojo dipilih sebagai penerus perusahaan adalah ia merupakan anak biologis dari Abiyoso dan istri Muspro.

Cuplikan cerita tersebut merupakan gambaran dari naskah “Tangis” tulisan Agus Noor berdasarkan dua naskah Heru Kesawa Murti yaitu “Juragan Abiyoso” dan “Tangis” yang telah berhasil dipentaskan oleh Teater Usmar Ismail, Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Unnes.

Konflik perebutan kekuasaan, harta, intrik politik uang, hasutan, fitnah, cinta mampu dikemas dengan manis dalam setting perusahaan batik yang sedikit banyak mampu mengangkat hasil mahakarya nusantara.

Belajar dari pementasan tahun lalu ketika penonton membludak, maka tim produksi Usmar Ismail pada tahun ini memutuskan untuk melakukan pementasan selama dua hari berturut-turut pada 16 dan 17 Mei 2017 demi kenyamanan dan kepuasan penonton.

Sesuai harapan, total 1.500 lebih penonton mampu menikmati pementasan dengan nyaman di gedung B6 FBS, Unnes. Penonton terdiri dari mahasiswa Unnes sendiri, komunitas teater di Kota Semarang serta kota-kota sekitar Jawa Tengah dan DIY. Bahkan salah satu pegiat teater dari Surabaya, Mbah Tohir pun turut mengapresi pementasan ini di hari pertama pementasan.

Imam Turmudzi selaku sutradara cukup berani menggarap lakon ini menjadi drama musikal. Meski berat karena belum mempunyai kecakapan dalam bermusik dengan baik serta kemampuan bernyanyi masing-masing akor yang berbeda, penggarap mampu menyajikan pada penonton sebuah pementasan yang luar biasa.

“Ini merupakan gebrakan baru dan pertama kali di Semarang, pementasan dengan kemasan drama musikal yang diiringi musik gabungan dari tradisonal dan modern,” komentar Bekti salah satu pegiat Teater Gema, UPGRIS yang turut menyaksikan pentas itu.
