Pendaftaran Beasiswa S3 Program IDB Hingga 19 Januari

Pendaftaran program Ph.D Scholarship Funded by IDB Financing for Semarang State University (Pengiriman Dosen Universitas Negeri Semarang untuk Studi Lanjut S3 Luar Negeri dengan Biaya IDB), masih dibuka hingga 19 Januari 2012.

Hal itu dikemukakan Pembantu Rektor Bidang Pengembangan dan Kerja Sama Universitas Negeri Semarang Prof Fathur Rokhman, Selasa (17/1) di kampus Sekaran. Pernyataan tersebut merujuk pada surat dari Direktur Pinjaman dan Hibah, Kementerian Keuangan nomor: S-1163/PU.2/2011 tanggal 12 Desember 2011.

Adapun kriteria dosen yang dapat mengikuti program tersebut, dosen harus berkedudukan sebagai dosen tetap atau dosen kontrak Unnes, bersedia mengabdi di Unnes, yang ditunjukan dengan surat pernyataan dengan mengetahui Dekan (bagi dosen kontrak). Selain itu, berusia maksimal 40 tahun dan memiliki sertifikat bahasa Inggris atau bahasa asing lainnya.

Berdasar kriteria tersebut, Prof Fathur berharap supaya masing-masing Dekan di tiap fakultas dapat merekomendasikan setidaknya 10 dosen yang memenuhi persyaratan. “Informasi ini hendaknya disampaikan kepada semua dosen di unit kerja di lingkungan Unnes,” ujarnya.

Selanjutnya, semua dosen yang telah terekomendasi akan diseleksi oleh Tim Project Management Unit (PMU) hingga menyisakan 20 dosen.

Menurut Prof Fathur, program ini bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas dosen di universitas konservasi. “Selain itu, melalui beasiswa ini, Unnes semakin kukuh menyongsong World Class University,” katanya.

Sementara itu, Rektor Unnes Prof Sudijono Sastroatmodjo mengemukakan, diperolehnya beasiswa IDB merupakan langkah nyata pengembangan dan peningkatan kualitas akademik di lingkungan Unnes. “Universitas konservasi bertaraf Internasional adalah hal yang tak bisa ditunda lagi,” tandasnya.

“Form aplikasi beserta persyaratan beasiswa bagi dosen yang telah direkomendasikan, kami terima selambat-lambatnya 19 Januari 2012 pukul 14.00 WIB,” papar Prof Fathur.
