Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) menyelenggarakan pelatihan Program Pengembangan Dasar Teknik Intruksional (PEKERTI) selama lima hari dimulai Senin sampai Jumat (27-31/1) di Gedung Prof Satmoko (LP3).

Ketua Lembaga Pengembangan Pendidikan dan Profesi (LP3) UNNES Dr Ngabiyanto MSi melaporkan, kegiatan ini diikuti 52 peserta dari UNNES dan luar UNNES terdiri atas 10 dosen Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan (FIP), 15 dosen FBS, 11 dosen FMIPA, 4 dosen FT, 6 dosen FIK, 3 dosen FE, 1 dosen FH, dan 2 dosen Sekolah Tinggi Pastoral Kateketik (STPKat) Asisi.

Rektor UNNES Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum dalam sambutanya menyampaikan, pentingnya untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dosen terutama Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi yang pertama yaitu Pendidikan dan Pengajaran.

“Dosen yang bagus memiliki inovasi pendidikan dan penelitian. Keilmuan menjadi hilir yang kuat dalam pendidikan. UNNES memiliki Spirit Rumah Ilmu Pengembang Peradaban. Kegiatan yang terselenggara di UNNES harus didasarkan Ilmu yang kemudian dihilirkan ilmunya,” kata Prof Fathur Rokhman.

Lebih lanjut Prof Fathur menyampaikan, prioritas tahun 2020 pengembangan UNNES selaras dengan gagasan Presiden Republik Indonesia Joko Widodo dan Mendikbud Nadiem Makarim, yaitu SDM Unggul, Cerdas dan Berkarakter.

UNNES menciptakan SDM Unggul salah satunya melalui pelatihan Program PEKERTI seperti ini bagi dosen agar menciptakan mahasiswa Unggul.

Rektor juga mendorong akreditasi dan sertifikasi Prodi Internasional, meningkatkan inovasi, publikasi, dan investasi. UNNES akan meningkatkan tata kelola kampus sehat, cedas, dan melayani.

Rektor juga memberikan pengarahan menjadi dosen abad 21 yakni dosen harus mempunyai Kompetensi Inti yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri 4.0 dan society 5.0, menguasi future skill untuk menghadapi industri 4.0 dan society 5.0, keterampilan sosial (termasuk 21st Century Teacher), kompetensi berinteraksi dengan budaya (multikultural), literasi baru (data, teknologi , dan manusia), dan belajar sepanjang hayat.

Dalam penutupnya, Prof Fatur mengatakan “Mudah-mudahan anda menjadi bagian penting dalam SDM Unggul UNNES, UNNES Mendunia Untuk Indonesia.”
