Presiden Mahasiswa Dilantik Rektor

Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) Prof Dr Sudijono Sastroatmodjo melantik Dony Kusuma Aribawa, mahasiswa Jurusan PJKR Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan (FIK) sebagai Presiden Mahasiswa (Presma) Unnes periode 2012, di gedung C7 Fakultas Ilmu Sosial (FIS) kampus Sekaran (30/1).

Dony menggantikan Sustiyo Wandi yang telah berakhir dari masa kepengurusan menjadi Presiden Mahasiswa periode 2011.

Selain melantik Presma, Rektor juga melantik Ketua Majelis Permusyawaratan Mahasiswa (MPM), Dewan Permusyawaratan Mahasiswa (DPM) dan 53 pengurus Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) periode 2012, antara lain UKM Tari Klasik, UKM EDS (Englis Debating Society), UKM Koperasi Mahasiswa, Riptek, Hockey, dan UKM Penerbitan.

Hadir pada acara tersebut Pembantu Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan Prof Masrukhi, Pembantu Rektor Bidang Pengembangan dan Kerjasama Prof Fathur Rokhman, Dekan, Pembantu Dekan Ketua Lembaga, Kepala Biro, dosen pendamping,perwakilan dari UKM. dan mahasiswa bidik misi.

“Pada masa kepemimpinan Sustiyo Wandi tahun 2011 lalu, banyak menteri yang hadir ke Unnes bahkan RI II yakni Budiono. Hal ini berkat kebersamaan antara pemimpin Unnes dengan mahasiswa. Tanpa ada kebersamaan, mustahil para pejabat pusat mengunjungi universitas konservasi ini,” kata Rektor Unnes.

Prof Sudijono berharap kepada Dony sebagai Presma baru bersama fungsionarisnya supaya dapat bekerja dengan kebersamaan dan melanjutkan kepemimpinan sebelumnya yang sudah menorehkan kepemimpinan secara kondusif. “Jika ada persoalan yang kurang pas, coba lakukan dengan dialogis kepada siapa saja. Jangan turun ke jalan apalagi sampai anarkis,” tandas nya.

Rektor mencontohkan, ketika dia melihat demo buruh di Jakarta, jalanan macet berjam-jam. “Seandaianya ada seorang Ibu akan pulang dan sudah ditunggu putranya yang masih balita, namun di perjalanan terjebak macet sehingga sampai di rumah pukul 18.00. Padahal seharusnya sampai rumah pukul 13.00, bagaimana perasaan Ibu tersebut?” kata Rektor.

“Andaikan itu terjadi pada kalian, apakah perasaan kalian juga sama dengan ibu tersebut? Itu baru persoalan satu orang , padahal yang terjebat macet itu ratusan orang,” kata Prof Sudijono.
