Peduli Pemuda dan Sejarah, ALMAPIPSI Gelar Rakernas

Aliansi Mahasiswa Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial se-Indonesia (ALMAPIPSI) menggelar agenda Rapat Kerja Nasional (RAKERNAS) dan Seminar Nasional. Agenda ini dilaksanakan di Gedung Kuliah Terpadu IAIN Jember selama tiga hari sejak tanggal 29-31 Maret 2018. Acara yang mengusung tema “Pemuda dan Sejarah Indonesia dalam Perspektif Politik, Pendidikan dan Sosial Ekonomi” dihadiri oleh 15 perguruan tinggi diantaranya : Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Universitas Negeri Jakarta, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, IAIN Metro Lampung, IAIN Cirebon,Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Unesa, IAIN Tulungagung, IAIN Ponorogo, Universitas Negeri Malang, UIN Maliki Malang, Universitas Raden Rahmat, STAIN Pamekasan, Universitas Tanjungpura dan IAIN Jember.

Acara ini dibuka langsung oleh dekan FTIK IAIN Jember, dalam sambutannya berpesan agar gerak langkah aktivis memang harus digalakkan dan dimassifkan. “Ikatan nasional ini memang harus dijaga kesatuaannya agar dapat memberikan sumbangsih kepada negeri tercinta,” ujar dosen FTIK ini. Diawali dengan Pelantikan pengurus ALMAPIPSI periode 2017-2018, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan acara Seminar Nasional. Seminar tersebut diisi oleh tiga pembicara yaitu Prof. Dr. Bambang Soepeno, M.Pd gutu besar pendidikan sejarah Unej menyampaikan mengenai “Pemuda dan sejarah indonesia”. Fauzan Adhim, M.Pd.I dosen Staifas menyampaikan mengenai “Pemuda dalam Aspek politik dan pendidikan”, Muhammad Muwafik, S.Pd.I,.MA dosen Unej menyampaikan “Pemuda dalam aspek sosial dan ekonomi”. Antusias peserta seminar sangat tinggi dalam mengikuti acara ini, terbukti dengan banyaknya peserta yang datang dari berbagai universitas di Indonesia.

Ketua Pelaksana Rakernas kali ini, Junaidi mengungkapkan bahwa pelantikan ini adalah awal dari kinerja Almapipsi untuk satu periode kedepan. “Ini bukanlah tujuan, melainkan awal dari eksistensi lembaga Almapipsi yang insyaAllah akan menjadi barometer organisasi lain di Indonesia dan mampu mewadahi seluruh mahasiswa pendidikan IPS diseluruh Indonesia”.

Sementara itu, Ketua umum ALMAPIPSI Harun mahasiswa semester VI dari kampus IAIN Tulungagung menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan RAKERNAS kali ini menghasilkan beberapa program kerja yang akan dilaksanakan oleh pengurus pusat, wilayah ataupun daerah. “Setelah diadakannya Rakernas diharapakan kinerja organisasi kedepan semakin terarah. Namun hal ini juga harus dibarengi dengan komunikasi, koordinasi dan kerjasama yang aktif setiap pihak yang berkontribusi di ALMAPIPSI. Aksi nyata sebagai implementasi dari agenda ini akan ditindaklanjuti dalam waktu dekat,” ungkap ketua umum ALMAPIPSI.

Koordinator Prodi Pendidikan IPS, Arif Purnomo MPd dan Pembina Hima Pendidikan IPS, Rudi Salam MPd juga menyampaikan apresiasi serta berharap semoga kegiatan tersebut bisa meningkatkan silaturahmi akademik mahasiswa Pendidikan IPS se-Indonesia.
