Labschool Unnes Tanamkan Toleransi Beragama

Rabu masih lumayan pagi ketika langkah sekelompok anak balita berderap menuju bangunan tua di Jalan Pandaran. Boleh jadi bangunan yang lazim dikenal orang sebagai Katedral itu masih tampak asing bagi mereka. Ada lima jemaat yang tengah berdoa menghadap altar, duduk berjauhan di kursi-kursi yang memanjang berjajar.

Seorang Frater menyapa anak-anak itu, dan berkata, “Ini katedral. Tempat beribadah umat beragama Katolik.”

Ketika Frater membunyikan lonceng Katedral, heninglah mereka mendengarkannya. Angel, salah seorang di antara anak-anak itu yang beragama Katolik, berseru pada teman-temannya, “Itu lonceng.”

Mereka adalah siswa PAUD Labschool Unnes. Dalam dampingan sejumlah guru, mereka mengunjungi tempat-tempat beribadah umat beragama di Semarang. Pasalnya, 21 anak tersebut tak semuanya seagama. Itulah sebabnya, pengetahuan mengenai kebiasaan ibadah yang berbeda pun perlu mereka ketahui.

“Kegiatan kunjungan ini kami lakukan untuk menanamkan sikap toleransi antarumat beragama. Kami mulai dari yang terdekat di sekitar kami, dengan mengunjungi katedral, pura, dan vihara,” kata Dhiana Binantari, A.Ma ketua kegiatan fieldtrip ini.

Katedral Pandanaran, Pura Agung Giri Natha, dan Vihara Tanah Putih, telah lengkap disambangi. Entah mengerti atau masih bertanya-tanya, anak-anak itu setidaknya percaya bahwa ada Tuhan yang mereka yakini dengan cara masing-masing.

    kapan-kapan dapat berkunjung di taman pendidikan al-qur’an di tempat kami.. biar mereka kenal juga arti pentingnya proses beragama pada agama tertentu… bagaimana memulai dan mengamalkan ajaran sang Ilahi Robii

    Patut diacungi jempol program semacam ini, sbg penanaman toleransi sejak dini. Karena kerusuhan sosial yang terjadi saat ini sebenarnya banyak dipicu oleh tidak adanya sikap toleransi beragama. Harapannya jika PAUD sudah diajari, tuanya akan tetap ingat dan menerapkannya. Sayangnya mereka di usia tengahan (SD, SMP, SMA) tidak ada yang melaksanakan program semacam ini, shg dari PAUD tidak berkelanjutan. Ayo sekolah lain..siapa takut, untuk ikut! Atau harus diprogram dari kurikulum nasional seperti ini.

  3. Bagaimanapun kegiatan seperti harus sepengetahuan dan seizin orang tua….pendidikan agama adalah masalah yg sensitif …..pada penyusunan Kur 13…untuk SD….justru guru agama yg beragama yg keberatan Mapel Agama masuk pembelajaran tematik…..perlu direnungkan….
