Nusantara Mengaji, Wujudkan Visi Rekatkan Indonesia

Hal tersebut dikatakan Menristekdikti Mohamad Nasir pada pelaksanaan kegiatan Kampus Nusantara Mengaji yang dilaksanakan di Gedung Prof. Wuryanto (Auditorium), Kampus Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Sabtu (21/4) malam.

Nusantara mengaji kali ini sendiri merupakan rangkaian acara Dies Natalis UNNES yang ke 53 dengan tajuk “Internasionalisasi UNNES merekat NKRI”. Dalam kesempatan itu Nasir mengungkapkan agar stakeholder Perguruan Tinggi harus berpikir “From Local to Global”.

Sebagai salah satu inisiator Kampus Nusantara Mengaji, Nasir mengatakan tujuan Nusantara Mengaji ini ialah meningkatkan ketaqwaan kepada Tuhan YME, dan menjaga kesatuan Republik Indonesia, menjaga perdamaian, dan menjaga keberagaman bangsa Indonesia.

“Tahun 2018 adalah tahun dimulainya Pilkada, mari kita jaga bersama keutuhan bangsa Indonesia. Oleh karena itu tidak boleh adanya perdebatan atau pergesekan umat beragama. Jangan sampai setelah adanya Pilkada bangsa Indonesia terpecah belah,” imbuh Nasir.

Nasir juga menyoroti perkembangan Kampus agar tidak dijadikan media politik dalam masa-masa Pilkada yang akan dijalani. Nasir tegaskan Kampus di Indonesia harus menjauh dari hal yang demikian.

“Jangan sampai Perguruan Tinggi menjadi provokator, jangan sampai Perguruan Tinggi sebagai pencetak hoax, jangan sampai menciptakan permusuhan. Tugas Perguruan Tinggi adalah menciptakan kader intelektual masa depan, maka dari itu kita harus selalu jaga keutuhan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia”, tutup Nasir.

Dalam kesempatan yang sama Nasir juga menyapa beberapa Perguruan Tinggi di Indonesia yang melakukan kegiatan Kampus Nusantara Mengaji melalui teleconference, diantaranya, UNIMA, UNILA, UNIJOYO, UNMUL, UNS, UNSRI, UNSYIAH, ITS, UNTIRTA, UNY, UNDIP.

Rektor UNNES Fathurrokhman sendiri mengatakan acara tersebut merupakan sebagian usaha dari Kemenristekdikti untuk menjaga keutuhan Negara.

“Malam ini kita bersyukur UNNES ikut berperan penting dalam Kampus Nusantara Mengaji, menjadi bagian orang-orang yang dimuliakan oleh Allah SWT, untuk membaca Al-Quran, memahami, dan menghayati dalam menjalankan kehidupan kita sehari-hari,” ujarnya.

Menurut Fathur, hal ini sesuai dengan misi UNNES untuk mewujudkan Universitas yang berwawasan konservasi dan berakreditasi internasional. Ada tiga pilar konservasi yang diemban, konservasi lingkungan, budaya, dan pendidikan karakter.

“Karakter mahasiswa dan dosen harus menunjukkan karakter yang mulia atau akhlakul karimah. Dengan pembelajaran Al-Quran sebagai pendidikan karakter bagi mahasiswa dan dosen, diharapkan tertanam karakter yang mulia,” pungkasnya.
