Penguji dari Filipina Apresiasi Inovasi LKPD Energi Terbarukan Berbasis Kearifan Lokal pada Ujian Skripsi Mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika FMIPA UNNES

Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA) Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) terus memperkuat internasionalisasi akademik melalui pelibatan penguji internasional dalam ujian skripsi mahasiswa. Pada Senin, 26 Januari 2026, pukul 08.00 WIB, mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika Difa Rahma Sari melaksanakan ujian skripsi dengan menghadirkan penguji dari Filipina.

Dalam ujian tersebut, Difa mempresentasikan hasil penelitiannya yang berjudul “Development of Student Worksheets (LKPD) Based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) on Renewable Energy Material in Biogas Production Integrated with Local Wisdom to Improve Students’ Critical Thinking Skills.” Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) yang terintegrasi dengan kearifan lokal dalam konteks produksi biogas sebagai materi energi terbarukan, dengan tujuan meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.

Ujian skripsi ini menghadirkan Assistant Professor Rene M. Babiera II, MAED-PE, CSASS dari University of the Immaculate Conception, Filipina, sebagai penguji luar negeri, serta Dr. Bambang Subali dari Universitas Negeri Semarang sebagai penguji dalam. Kehadiran penguji internasional memberikan tolok ukur global terhadap kualitas, kebaruan, dan keandalan produk pembelajaran yang dikembangkan mahasiswa.

Dalam sesi ujian, Assistant Professor Rene M. Babiera II mengajukan pertanyaan kritis terkait aspek kebaruan (novelty) dan keandalan (reliability) LKPD yang dikembangkan. Difa Rahma Sari mampu menjawab pertanyaan tersebut secara meyakinkan dengan menunjukkan argumentasi ilmiah yang kuat terkait desain pembelajaran, proses validasi, serta implementasi LKPD berbasis PjBL terintegrasi kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran energi terbarukan.

Sementara itu, Dr. Bambang Subali menyoroti alasan pemilihan topik energi terbarukan serta capaian unggul pada keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreativitas peserta didik. Beliau mendorong mahasiswa untuk menegaskan kekuatan dan kontribusi inovatif LKPD yang dikembangkan sebagai produk pembelajaran yang mendukung keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (higher-order thinking skills) dalam pendidikan fisika.

Highlight Internasionalisasi, IKU, dan Global Engagement.

Pelibatan penguji internasional dalam ujian skripsi ini mencerminkan komitmen kuat FMIPA UNNES terhadap penjaminan mutu akademik global, benchmarking internasional, dan agenda World Class University (WCU). Kegiatan ini berkontribusi langsung pada beberapa indikator kinerja internasionalisasi, antara lain:

  • Indikator Kinerja Utama (IKU) Internasional: Partisipasi akademisi internasional dalam proses ujian mendukung IKU 6 (Kelas Kolaboratif dan Partisipatif) dan IKU 7 (Reputasi Akademik Internasional) melalui peningkatan kolaborasi akademik global dan visibilitas internasional.
  • Roadmap World Class University (WCU): Kehadiran penguji luar negeri memperkuat penjaminan mutu akademik dan benchmarking global, sekaligus memperluas jejaring akademik internasional UNNES dengan perguruan tinggi di kawasan Asia Tenggara.
  • Global Engagement dan Paparan Internasional: Kegiatan ini memberikan paparan akademik internasional bagi mahasiswa dan dosen, serta membuka peluang kerja sama lanjutan seperti joint research, co-publication, student exchange, dan joint supervision antara UNNES dan mitra internasional.

Topik penelitian ini juga selaras dengan agenda global pendidikan dan keberlanjutan, khususnya SDG 4 (Quality Education) dan SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), dengan menekankan integrasi keberlanjutan, kearifan lokal, dan keterampilan abad ke-21 dalam pendidikan sains.

Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan bahan ajar inovatif berbasis proyek yang terintegrasi kearifan lokal, serta memperkuat pembelajaran fisika yang mendorong keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreatif peserta didik.
