Benchmarking Kurikulum Internasional antara FMIPA UNNES dan Fakulti Pendidikan UiTM Malaysia

Kamis, 9 Oktober 2025, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Negeri Semarang (FMIPA UNNES) menyelenggarakan kegiatan Benchmarking Kurikulum Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika, Pendidikan Kimia, dan Pendidikan Biologi bersama Fakulti Pendidikan Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia.

Kegiatan yang berlangsung di Gedung D12 Lantai 2 FMIPA UNNES ini bertujuan memperkuat kolaborasi akademik serta memastikan keselarasan kurikulum berbasis Outcome-Based Education (OBE) yang berorientasi pada keberlanjutan (Sustainability) dan berdampak nyata bagi masyarakat (Impactful).

Acara ini dihadiri oleh para koordinator program studi di lingkungan FMIPA UNNES, yakni:

  1. Dr. Bambang Subali, Koordinator Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika,
  2. Dr. Sigit Saptono, Koordinator Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi
  3. Dr. Agung Tri Prasetyo, Koordinator Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia
  4. Arif Widiyatmoko, S.Pd., M.Pd., Ph.D., Koordinator Program Studi Pendidikan IPA S2
  5. Prof. Dr. Ani Rusilowati, Koordinator Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika S2

Kegiatan ini difasilitasi oleh Dr. Ellianawati, M.Si., yang juga bertindak sebagai narahubung antara FMIPA UNNES dan Fakulti Pendidikan UiTM Malaysia.

Dalam sesi diskusi paralel, para ahli dari UiTM memberikan berbagai masukan konstruktif dan rekomendasi penguatan kurikulum untuk masing-masing program studi.

Bidang Pendidikan Fisika — Dr. Norezan Ibrahim dari Jabatan Fizik UiTM menilai kurikulum Pendidikan Fisika UNNES telah memiliki struktur yang kuat dan komprehensif, mencakup profil lulusan, CPL, serta nilai-nilai keberlanjutan. Ia merekomendasikan agar kurikulum per semester ditampilkan secara lebih sistematis untuk memperlihatkan progres kompetensi dari dasar hingga lanjutan, serta memperjelas keterkaitan CPL dalam setiap mata kuliah.

Bidang Pendidikan Kimia — Prof. Dr. Sharipah Ruzaina binti Syed Aris dari Jabatan Kimia UiTM menekankan bahwa kurikulum Pendidikan Kimia UNNES memiliki fondasi filosofis yang kokoh dan selaras dengan prinsip Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). Ia menyarankan penguatan dalam aspek pengajaran bilingual, integrasi teknologi digital dan kecerdasan buatan, serta penerapan refleksi pedagogis dan jejaring internasional untuk memperluas dampak kurikulum.

Bidang Pendidikan Biologi — Zulinda Ayu binti Zulkipli, M.Sc. dan Dr. Al ‘Aina Yuhainis Firus Khan dari Jabatan Biologi UiTM mengapresiasi struktur kurikulum Pendidikan Biologi UNNES yang selaras dengan CPL, berkarakter konservasi, serta berorientasi pada riset dan kewirausahaan biologi. Rekomendasi yang diberikan mencakup penyederhanaan mata kuliah pedagogik dan penambahan elemen globalisasi serta kolaborasi lintas disiplin, seperti Bioinformatics for Educators dan Global Biodiversity Policy.

Seluruh peserta mencapai kata sepakat bahwa hasil benchmarking ini menjadi pijakan penting dalam penyempurnaan Kurikulum UNNES 2025: Outcome-Based, Sustainable, and Impactful Curriculum. Kolaborasi ini juga memperkuat posisi FMIPA UNNES sebagai pusat unggulan pendidikan sains berwawasan konservasi di tingkat internasional.

Kegiatan diakhiri dengan penandatanganan berita acara serta komitmen tindak lanjut berupa pengembangan joint curriculum enhancement dan penjajagan peluang academic mobility antara FMIPA UNNES dan Fakulti Pendidikan UiTM Malaysia. Melalui semangat kolaborasi lintas negara, kegiatan ini menegaskan komitmen FMIPA UNNES untuk terus mencetak pendidik dan peneliti sains yang unggul, berintegritas, dan berdaya saing global.
