Menwa Unnes Tasyakuran HUT ke-36

Resimen Mahasiswa (Menwa) satuan 902 Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) menggelar tasyakuran dalam rangka memperingati hari jadi ke-36 di Joglo Unnes kampus Sekaran, Sabtu (27/4) malam.

Acara tersebut merupakan malam puncak dari serangkaian acara yang digelar sebelumnya, seperti lomba pemilihan Kartini dan Kartono, tarik tambang, makan kerupuk, bola dangdut, futsal sarung, merias, dan karaoke.

Komandan Resimen Mahasiswa (Menwa) Satuan 902 Jaelani Aufa mengungkapkan, inti dari tasyakuran ini bukan sekadar memperingati hari ulang tahun. “Kami ingin mempererat tali silaturahmi anggota aktif dengan para alumni, birokrat, pengurus Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM), dan satuan resimen mahasiswa se-Kota Semarang,” katanta. “Harapannya akan terus terjalin komunikasi yang lebih baik.”

Hadir pada tasyakuran ini Pembantu Dekan Bidang Kemahasiswaan (PD III) Fakultas Teknik (FT) Drs Supraptono MPd mewakili pelaksana tugas (Plt) rektor Unnes. Dalam sambutannya, Supraptono mengutarakan kekagumannya pada menwa atas prestasi dan kreativitas yang dibentuk melalui sikap disiplin yang tinggi.

“Semoga Menwa terus berkembang dan mampu menjadi contoh bagi UKM lain di Unnes”, katanya.

Selain peringatan hari jadi, tasyakuran ini sekaligus menjadi malam purna yudha bagi para alumni setelah terakhir kali dilaksanakan pada tahun 2007. Sejumlah 36 alumni memperoleh sertifikat penghargaan sebagai bentuk apresiasi atas jasa mereka selama aktif dalam satuan 902.

Perwakilan alumni Menwa Wisnu Hendri Wijaya mengungkapkan rasa kebanggaan karena pernah menjadi bagian dari satuan 902. Dalam sambutannya, ia mengungkapkan resimen mahasiswa telah mampu membentuk pribadi mahasiswa yang tampil beda dengan mahasiswa lain.

“Kedisiplinan di menwa menjadikan kami tahan banting, siap menghadapi kondisi dan situasi apapun,” tandasnya.
