Menwa Unnes Kerja Bakti Bersama Warga Banaran

Resimen Mahasiswa Batalyon 902 Universitas Negeri Semarang (Menwa Unnes) menyelenggarakan kerja bakti se-kelurahan Banaran.

Komandan Batalyon Fikri Rizki Pratama menyampaikan, kegiatan ini merupakan serangkaian kegiatan dalam rangka memeriahkan Hari Ulang Tahun ke-39 Menwa, Minggu (3/4).

Pembukaan dipusatkan di lapangan banaran, dihadiri oleh anggota menwa, perwakilan Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM), warga Banaran, dan dosen Akpol.

Fikri Rizki Pratama saat membuka menyampaikan, sebagai mahasiswa aktif sudah seharusnya ikut berperan dalam membangun Unnes yang berwawasan konservasi salah satunya dengan mengadakan ‘Bersih Desa’ seperti sekarang ini.

“Ini bentuk kepedulian mahasiswa kepada masyarakat sebagai bekal nanti setelah lulus untuk terjun di masyarakat,” kata Fikri.

Dosen Akpol Muntoha mengemukakan, partisipasi dari warga dan mahasiswa dari beberapa perwakilan UKM ini patut diapresiasi. Mereka bekerja sama saling bahu membahu mulai dari memotong rumput di lapangan Banaran, membersihkan selokan, membuat parit, dan menyusun batako di depan masjid.

“Semangat kekeluargaan dan gotong royong sangat tampak kental antara warga dan mahasiswa, ini yang harus diteladani,” kata Muntoha. (Eka Fajlin)

    yang paling saya ingat dari Menwa adalah kedisiplinanya yang sampai sampai jam 6 pagi sudah lari lari keliling Unnes dengan barisan teratur dan lantunan yel yel yang membangkitkan optimisme. Pengabdian Menwa patut diapresiasi!
