Menuju Visi Indonesia 2045, UNNES berakselerasi meningkatkan kualitas LPTK

Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum beserta para Dekan dan Jajaran pimpinan mengadakan kegiatan FGD dengan tema “Sinkronisasi Kebijakan Pengembangan Universitas dalam Upaya Pengembangan Keunggulan LPTK” di Student lounge gedung Prof Satmoko LP3,senin (25/11).

Acara dengan pembicara tunggal Dr Subandi Sardjoko Deputi Menteri PPN Bappenas Bidang Pembangunan Manusia, Masyarakat dan Kebudayaan Kementerian PPN/Bapennas membahas tentang peningkatan kualitas LPTK yang salah satunya adalah UNNES.

Dr Subandi menyampaikan bahwa Indonesia di tahun 2045 mempunyai visi menjadi negara dengan ekonomi terbesar ke Lima di dunia. Artinya pendapatan perkapita Indonesia di tahun 2045 adalah USD 23.199 dari angka perkapita Indonesia tahun 2017 USD 3.877, naik lebih dari USD 20.000. Prasarat utama tersebut adalah adanya SDM yang berkualitas, produktif, dan menguasai teknologi.

Dr Subandi juga mengatakan, terdapat penghambat utama dalam pencapaian target tersebut yaitu kualitas Sumber daya Manusia. Tingkat partisipasi sekolah di Indonesia tinggi namun kualitas pendidikan masih sangat rendah. Sebagai perbandingan keahlian tenaga kerja lulusan pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia setara keahlian tenaga kerja lulusan SMA ke bawah di negara Denmark.

UNNES sebagai salah satu LPTK dituntut untuk mempunyai kekhususan dalam membentuk lulusannya. Dengan latar belakang sebagai kampus penghasil para guru maka dikuatkan bidang teaching university tersebut. Hal ini semakin menguatkan diferensiasi masing masing perguruan tinggi yaitu sebagai research university atau teaching university atau juga vacational university.

Sementara itu Rektor UNNES Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman menyampaikan visi misi UNNES yang sudah terlaksana dan masih berproses siap untuk berkolaborasi menjalankan arahan presiden dan kementerian salah satunya adalah membangun SDM pekerja keras yang dinamis, produktif, terampil, menguasai ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi didukung dengan kerjasama industri dan talenta global.

Di akhir sambutan Prof Fathur juga mengucapkan selamat hari Guru Nasional 25 November 2019, mari kita muliakan guru-guru kita, ajaknya. h7
