Lebaran pun Dilalui di Negeri Jiran

Bagi Rahma Huda Putranto lebaran tahun ini terasa sangat berbeda. Ia dan empat belas mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) lainnya harus berlebaran di negeri jiran, Malaysia, jauh dari handai taulan dan keluarga di Tanah Air.

Jika di Tanah Air mereka bisa menikmati malam takbiran yang meriah, di sana mereka mendapati malam takbiran justru sepi. Pasalnya, mereka tinggal di asrama  kampus Universitas Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) yang telah ditinggal penghuninya.

“Malam takbiran di sini sepi karena mahasiswa UPSI hampir semua pulang kampung. Kami berlima belas menghabiskan malam takbiran di asrama. Jika di Tanah Air takbiran hampir selalu hiruk pikuk, di sini masjid dan jalanan justru sepi,” tuturnya kepada unnes.ac.id.

Tak mau kehilangan momentum takbiran, Huda dan empat belas rekannya kemudian menggelar takbiran sendiri. Di asrama, mereka menyerukan kebesaran Allah dalam hening yang dalam.

“Kami berusaha memecah keheningan malam dengan mengumandangkan lafal takbir bersama. Justru kondisi itu yang membuat takbir dan tahlil yang kami lantunkan terasa sangat khusyuk,” lanjutnya.

Suasana berbeda kembali Huda dapati pagi hari saat Idul Fitri. Tanpa baju baru, mereka berombongan berjalan menuju masjid Jamik Tanjongmalim yang berjarak 8 kilometer dari kampus UPSI tempat mereka tinggal. Sebagai pelancong baru, mereka belum punya banyak kenalan. Tak pelak itu membuat mereka tiba-tiba rindu keluarga di Tanah Air.

Beruntung, setelah salat Ied ada keluarga asal Indonesia yang mengundang mereka merayakan Idul Fitri bersama. Undangan yang diterima melalui pesan singkat itu membuat mereka bungah. Bukan hanya karena mereka bisa menyantap masakan khas lebaran seperti opor, ketupat, tempe dan sayur gori, tapi karena mereka juga merasakan keramahtamahan.

“Kebetulan rumah keluarga ini tidak terlalu jauh dari masjid tempat kami salat Ied. Keluarga itu menganggap kami seperti anak sendiri,” kata Huda.

Huda dan 14 mahasiswa Unnes lainnya berada di Malaysia untuk mengikuti Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan Antarbangsa (PPL AB) kerja sama Unnes dengan UPSI Malaysia. Sejak 8 Juli hingga 5 September mendatang mereka akan mengajar di sejumlah sekolah di Tanjongmalim, Rawang, Slim River, dan  Trolak.  Kerja sama ini dilakukan Unnes untuk membekali mahasiswa dengan pengalaman mengajar dari negara lain.
