Melalui Facebook, SBY Ajak Berbagi Ilmu di Unnes

Melalui fanpage di jejaring sosial Facebook, Presiden ke-6 Republik Indonesia  Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) mengajak berbagi Ilmu green economy di Unnes.

“Untuk menjadi Bangsa yang besar, kita harus bercita-cita besar dan berkarya besar,” ujar SBY dengan lantang mengawali orasi ilmiah di hadapan ratusan tamu undangan dan mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes), Rabu (30/3) pagi. Dalam upacara puncak Dies Natalis ke-51 Unnes, SBY memberikan orasi ilmiah Pembangunan Berkelanjutan Menuju Indonesia Abad 21.

SBY menyampaikan pandangannya bagaimana ekonomi konvensional telah memberikan dampak terhadap pengurasan sumber daya kehidupan, pencemaran lingkungan & ketidakadilan. Oleh karena itu, SBY menekankan pentingnya koreksi besar serta implementasi ekonomi berbasis lingkungan untuk mewujudkan kualitas hidup manusia yang lebih baik, keadilan sosial dan kelestarian ekosistem.

SBY menjelaskan bahwa bagi Indonesia, ekonomi hijau dan pembangunan berkelanjutan adalah jalan yang beradab dan bertanggung jawab. “Dengan semangat ‘Kita Bisa’, kita wujudkan Indonesia Emas di akhir abad 21!” ujar SBY dengan penuh percaya diri.

Dalam kunjungannya di Unnes, SBY juga memberikan apresiasi atas konsep konservasi yang dijalankan Universitas tersebut. “Luar Biasa! Bagus sekali. Ini baru konservasi!,” puji SBY. Konsep konservasi Unnes dalam mewujudkan kampus ‘hijau’ diharapkan SBY dapat dicontoh kampus-kampus lain di Indonesia.

Upacara Puncak Dies Natalis ke-51 Unnes juga ditandai dengan pemberian penghargaan kepada lima tokoh Indonesia yang memiliki jasa besar di berbagai bidang. SBY termasuk salah satu di antaranya. Atas peran dan kontribusinya dalam menegakkan demokrasi di Indonesia; menggagas dan meneladankan politik santun; serta kiprahnya dalam menegakkan perdamaian dunia dan merumuskan konsep Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), SBY menerima Anugerah Konservasi Upakaratama Reh Adiwangsa.

Selain SBY, beberapa tokoh yang menerima penghargaan oleh Unnes di antaranya, Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan 2009-2014, Prof. Dr. Ir. Mohammad Nuh dalam bidang pendidikan, khususnya dalam menggagas bantuan Pendidikan bagi Mahasiswa Berpestasi (Bidikmisi); Menristekdikti, Prof. H. Mohamad Nasir dalam bidang pengembangan riset dan teknologi; Prof. Dr. Ir. Riri Fitri Sari atas pencapaian dan penerapan di bidang teknologi informasi; Dr (HC) Rita Subowo atas jasanya membangun olahraga nasional.
