Mawapres Utama UNNES Raih Predikat Penyaji Terbaik di Pilmapres Nasional 2018

Faoziah Arumi, mahasiswa Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) angkatan 2015  berhasil meraih predikat sebagai penyaji terbaik atau best presenter dalam ajang Pemilihan Mahasiswa Berprestasi (Pilmapres) Nasional 2018. ‎

Arumi menyabet predikat tersebut dengan karya tulisan ilmiahnya yang bertajuk Indonesia Bersastra.

Pilmapres Nasional 2018 diselenggarakan oleh Direktorat Jenderal Pembelajaran dan Kemahasiswaan Kemenristekdikti. Pengumuman juara dilaksanakan di Surakarta pada Rabu (11/7).

Tahun ini, Pilmapres mengusung tema sumber daya manusia yang berdaya saing tinggi serta berkarakter yang siap memasuki era revolusi industri 4.0 dengan agenda acara berlangsung sejak Senin hingga Kamis (9-12/7).

Para peserta Pilmapres berjuang dalam mempresentasikan dan mempertahankan karya ilmiahnya yang dititikberatkan pada pemanfaatan teknologi informasi maupun pengembangan hasil inovasi yang dapat didiseminasikan secara luas.

Pada tahap awal, Pilmapres Nasional 2018 diikuti oleh 252 peserta yang berasal dari Perguruan Tinggi se-Indonesia. Selanjutnya, terpilihlah 26 finalis yang terdiri atas 17 mahasiswa dari program Sarjana dan 9 mahasiswa dari Diploma.

Pada ajang Pilmapres Nasional 2018, Arumi mengajukan pemikirannya dalam bentuk karya Ilmiah berjudul Indonesia Bersastra sebagai Wahana Preventif Disintegrasi Bangsa Indonesia di Sekolah Daerah Perbatasan.

Dia menilai perlunya upaya menanggulangi disintegrasi bangsa melalui pengembangan nilai-nilai kebudayaan dan kearifan lokal, salah satunya melalui sastra.

Dalam karyanya Arumi juga menggambarkan pola interaksi dan korelasi antara sastra dan upaya  integrasi nasional.

Ia menambahkan, capaian predikat tersebut tak lepas dari dukungan keluarga, dosen pembimbing, sahabat, dan pihak universitas.

“Ada banyak pihak yang membantu saya hingga bisa sampai disini. Saya berterima kasih kepada semua pihak yang tidak bisa saya sebutkan satu persatu. Terima kasih kepada Rektor UNNES Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum, Wakil Rektor bidang Kemahasiswaan Dr Bambang Budi Raharjo MSi, Staf Ahli Rektor bidang Prestasi Dr Tommi Yuniawan MHum, dan Dosen Pembimbing Meina Febriani SPd MPd,” jelasnya.

Kedepan, imbuhnya, semoga wakil UNNES di tahun 2019, mampu memberikan tampilan yang lebih baik dan lebih prestatif.

Rektor UNNES Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum mengapresiasi capaian prestasi yang telah diraih oleh Arumi tersebut.

“Saya ucapkan selamat kepada ananda Faoziah Arumi. Semoga capaian bersama ini, semakin meneguhkan UNNES sebagai universitas berwawasan konservasi dan bereputasi internasional,” ungkap Profesor bidang Sosiolinguistik itu.
