Mata Najwa on Stage Dipadati Belasan Ribu Penonton

Belasan ribu penonton memadati halaman depan Rektorat Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) untuk mengikuti talk show Mata Najwa on Stage (MOS), Sabtu (29/8) malam. Antrean panjang terjadi sejak pukul 18.00 di pintu masuk lokasi talk show.

‘Cinta Untuk Negeri’ menjadi tajuk yang diangkat dalam talk show malam itu. Lelah menunggu berjam-jam, terbayarkan saat Najwa Shihab muncul dari belakang panggung usai pertunjukan 3D Mapping berlatar Lawang Sewu. Penonton langsung bersorak saat presenter 37 tahun itu menyapa ribuan warga Semarang.

Tak lama setelah itu ia mengundang narasumbernya naik ke atas panggung. Bintang tamu yang diundang untuk naik dan berbincang dengan Najwa di atas panggung pada malam itu antara lain Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Mendikbud) Anies Baswedan, Gubernur Jawa Tengah Ganjar Pranowo, Titiek Puspa, Iko Uwais, hingga Jubing Kristanto.

Dalam talk show MOS, Anis Baswedan mengatakan “Akan ada kebijakan nantinya, sebelum memulai pembelajaran, siswa diwajibkan membaca doa setelah itu menyanyikan lagu patriotik, untuk menutup kegiatan pembelajaran siswa juga harus menyanyikan lagu daerah.” Hal tersebut dikatakan Anis Baswedan saat menanggapi masukan dari Jubing dan Titiek Puspa terkait persoalan kebijakan untuk melestarikan kebudayaan Indonesia.

Selain itu Ganjar Pranowo di dalam talk show tersebut berpesan kepada mahasiswa yang memang sebagian hadir dalam acara tersebut. Dikatakan Ganjar, sebagai mahasiswa yang terpenting yaitu mengikuti organisasi ekstra maupun intra kampus. Ia berpendapat, melalui kegiatan itu akan memberikan banyak pengalaman terjun ke dalam masyarakat.

“Dahulu saya ikut mapala, dari situ belajar banyak, termasuk bagaimana memimpin sekelompok orang, hingga ikut mengajar dan memberi pelatihan tentang rock climbing, dan olah raga ekstrem lainnya,” jelas Ganjar.

Jalin Kerjasama
Dalam waktu yang sama, Unnes juga menandatangani Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) dengan PT Media Televisi Indonesia (Metro TV).

Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum mengatakan “Nota Kesepahaman ini bertujuan sebagai kerangka sinergi untuk penjajakan pengembangan kompetensi, peningkatan kualitas SDM, penyediaan tenaga ahli serta mengembangkan dan membina hubungan kelembagaan, dalam rangka melaksanakan Tri Dharma perguruan tinggi di bidang pengabdian kepada masyarakat, penelitian dan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan serta teknologi,” ungkapnya.

Selama lima tahun kedepan Unnes dan Metro TV akan melakukan peningkatan kualitas SDM melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan, pertukaran tenaga ahli, dan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan serta teknologi, serta pertukaran informasi dan data di bidang IPTEK serta bidang lain sesuai kebutuhan berdasarkan Nota Kesepahaman kedua pihak.

“Kerjasama ini juga memungkinkan, mahasiswa Unnes untuk magang di Metro TV, sekaligus memberikan rekomendasi untuk bisa menjadi pegawai disana. Banyak mahasiswa Unnes yang memiliki kemampuan sebagai presenter atau bidang broadcasting yang lain. Mudah mudahan kerjasama ini menjadi langkah awal untuk kerja sama selanjutnya,” tambah Rektor Unnes.
