Mantan Dekan FIP Itu Purnatugas

Drs Siswanto MM mantan Dekan Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan (FIP) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) memasuki purnatugas terhitung mulai tanggal 1 November 2013. Pelepasan oleh Rektor Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum, Jumat (1/11) di rektorat kampus Sekaran.

Selain mantan Dekan FIP, dilepas pula Ir Winarni MSi mantan Sekretaris Jurusan Kimia FMIPA ketika itu masih IKIP Semarang, Dra Suhermini MSi (FE), Maryadi SH Kepala Bagian (Kabag) TU (FT), dan Bambang Supriyadi BAAKK.

Hadir Pembantu Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan (PR I) Dr Agus Wahyudin, PR II Dr Wahyono, PR III Prof Masrukhi, Dekan, Wakil KORPRI, dan Kabag Kepegawaian.

“Saya sudah bekerja 38 tahun 10 bulan hampir 39 tahun, masuk mulai 1974 rektornya pak Wuryanto dan mengalami tujuh pergantian rektor,” kata mantan Dekan FIP Drs Siswanto MM.

Siswanto MM juga mengemukakan, bekerja di Unnes selama 38 tahun itu saya belum pernah cuti, cuma cuti dua kali saat ibadah haji dan umroh saja.

Saat ini jumlah mahasiswa Unnes sudah puluhan ribu, maka untuk memimpinnya lebih berat. “Kalau saya yang mimpin ya cekot-cekot, untung saya sudah purnatugas,” kelakarnya disambut gelaktawa yang hadir.
Sementara itu Rektor Prof Fathur Rokhman mengatakan setiap ada warga Unnes yang purnatugas dari tahun ke tahun dilepas oleh pimpinan secara sederhana.

Kesederhanaan itu, kata Prof Fathur, suatu tradisi budaya yang dilakukan turun temurun, mulai dari rektor terdahulu sampai sekarang. Lain halnya pelepasan di fakultas-fakultas atau di unit dilakukan dengan cara yang berbeda.

Purnatugas itu hanya batas waktu kontrak bekerja saja, tetapi silaturahmi, persahabatan tidak akan sirna selama hayat apalagi persaudaraan, kata Rektor.

Setelah purnatugas tidak lepas begitu saja para pensiunan itu masuk ke perkumpulan Wredatama sebagai ajang silaturahmi dan kangen-kangenan dan setiap tahun diundang oleh universitas saat Dies Natalis. Untuk itu kami ucapkan selamat purnatugas berkumpul keluarga dan terima kasih atas pengebdiannya.

Ini yang membuat kami langsung memahami apa yang beliau ajarkan dan Disiplin yang tinggi itu membuat kami sangat menghargai waktu.
