Mangunsari Ditanami 1.300 Bibit Pohon

Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni (FBS) bekerjasama dengan Badan Pengembangan Konservasi melakukan penanaman bibit tanaman bersama 1.115 mahasiswa FBS angkatan 2014 di Dukuh Salakan Kelurahan Mangunsari Kecamatan Gunungpati Semarang, Jumat (10/4).

Kegiatan penanaman 1.300 bibit tanaman dipimpin oleh Dekan FBS Prof Dr Agus Nuryatin MHum di didampingi Pembantu Dekan Bidang Kemahasiswaan Syahrul Syah Sinaga MHum.Mahasiswa yang melakukan penanaman di lokasi ini berasl dari semua jurusan yang ada di FBS.

Dekan FBS Unnes, Prof Dr gus Nuryati MHum menuturkan, bahwa penanaman pohon ini merupakan gerakan nyata dari visi konservasi yang digagas Unnes yang bertujuan untuk menambah tutupan lahan dan menambah produktivitas tanaman buah. “penanaman beraneka jenis pohon diharapkan dapat menjadi tutupan lahan kosong sekaligus mendukung produktivitas buah di mangunsari dan menjaga ketersediaan air bagi warga Mangunsari.

Kepala desa Mangunsari menyambut baik kegiatan penanaman pohon di wilayahnya dan akan merawat tanaman yang ditanam oleh 1.115 mahasiswa FBS Unnes.

Jenis bibit tanaman yang ditanam sebanyak 1.300 bibit tanaman, yang terdiri atas Sengon 600, sirsak 110, alpokat 235, Rambutan Binjai 100, Rambutan rapiah 100, Cengkeh 10, dan Durian Montong 145.
