MAN Tegalrejo Magelang, Kunjungi Unnes

Sejumlah 238 Siswa dan 11 Guru Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Tegalrejo Magelang melakukan kunjungan ke Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes), Kamis (19/11) di Auditorium kampus Sekaran Gunungpati.

Rombongan yang dipimpin Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Sarana Prasarana Drs Dwi Adi Satrianto SPd diterima Kepala Biro Akademik, Kemahasiswaan dan Kerjasama (BAKK) Heri Kismaryono MM bersama Kabag dan Kasubbag kerja sama.

Drs Dwi Adi Satrianto SPd menyampaikan, murid kami sebanyak 238 terdiri dari klas XII IPA IPS dan Agama ini, sebentar lagi akan lulus ingin mengenal Unnes lebih dekat. “Mereka ingin mengetahui informasi dan pengetahuan tentang kampus Unnes, kegiatan-kegiatan kampus, seleksi penerimaan mahasiswa baru, dan beasiswa”, ungkapnya.

Menanggapi itu, Heri Kismaryono MM menjelaskan, penerimaan mahasiswa baru di Unnes ada tiga jalur yakni pertama Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN), kedua Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SBMPTN), dan ketiga Seleksi Mandiri (seleksi yang diselenggarakan oleh Unnes sendiri).
“Tidak ada alasan siswa tidak bisa melanjutkan ke bangku kuliah, sebab Unnes menerima mahasiswa bidikmisi terbesar se Indonesia,” kata Heri Kismaryono.

Mahasiswa penerima beasiswa bidikmisi itu diperuntukkan bagi siswa berprestasi dan tidak mampu secara ekonomi. Selain itu tidak membayar kuliah sampai lulus (8 semester), bahkan tiap bulan memperoleh biaya hidup sebesar Rp 600 ribu.

Sebelumnya, beberapa mahasiswa prestasi juga memberi testimoni sebagai gambaran nyata, prestasi yang berhasil diraih selama menjadi mahasiswa UNNES, diantaranya Hermawati dari UKM Mahapala yang telah berhasil mendaki puncak gunung Aconcagua Argentina, Bety Mawarni, Riskawati, Martinda Intan Permata, dan Nur Riwayati. Arief Setiawan
