Maksimalkan Pelayanan, Akses ke Beberapa Web Diblokir

Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) bertekad mewujudkan pelayanan prima di semua bidang, termasuk pengoptimalan akses internet di jaringan kampus. Untuk itu, beberapa laman yang dinilai memperberat akses sistem di Unnes, telah diblokir.

Hal itu disampaikan Kepala Badan Pengembangan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (BPTIK) Unnes, Sugiyanto MSi, ketika memberikan amanat dalam apel pagi, Senin (7/4), di rektorat kampus Sekaran.

Sugiyanto mengatakan, situs-situs tertentu sengaja diblokir untuk memaksimalkan akses internet di kampus Unnes. “Jika mendapati beberapa konten yang telah kami blokir, silakan diakses di rumah atau di luar kampus Unnes,” ujarnya.

Dengan diblokirnya beberapa laman, Sugiyanto mengatakan, akses ke laman yang terkait dengan kepentingan akademik kampus akan semakin optimal. “Sudah menjadi keharusan untuk memberikan pelayanan yang optimal kepada segenap civitas,” katanya.

    setuju. cuman masih ada beberapa situs yang diblokir namun bisa disiasati bisa dibuka dijaringan unnes. contoh youtube dan facebook.

    Setuju sekali, selama beberapa hari ini layanan internet khusus di wilayah Unnes sangat lambat, ini berarti kebutuhan akses internet di kampus Unnes sangat tinggi, layanan prima Unnes bagus.

  3. setuju pak, apalagi jika ‘yutub’ diblokir juga. Kemarin baru tau kalo ‘fesbuk’ diblokir di jaringan internet unnes saat konek wifinya, tp saat buka ‘yutub’ masih bisa.

    ya sudah bagus, tapi sebagian dosen menggunakan layanan facebook untuk mengumpulkan tugas dan berinteraksi selama perkuliahan. kalo sampai youtube jg diblokir, sarana pembelajaran berarti berkurang dong. karena beberapa dosen juga menggunakan youtube sebagai media listening dan contoh beberapa penampilan. kalo semua diblokir, buat apa ada wifi?

    waaahhhh, berita bagus… tapi untuk socmed, ex: facebook, twitter, dsb. saya kira jangan karena dalam salah satu perkuliahan MKU/MKDK memanfaatkan socmed facebook. kalau untuk facebook di blokir saya kurang setuju…

    memutuskan koneksi atau memblokir web-web yang dirasa memperberat akses internet di lingkungan Unnes adalah langkah bijak dan baik untuk mewujudkan pelayanan prima. Akan tetapi, mohon akses ke Youtube jangan di blokir karena sangat membantu proses pembelajaran secara online. Situs lain seperti facebook dan sejumlah sosial media jika memang diperlukan di blokir selama jam kerja silakan saja… menegingat interaksi secara online dengan mhs bisa dilakukan melalui email.
