Mahasiswa UNNES Masuk 5 Besar Kompetisi Creative Preneur Festival 2016

Tim mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) masuk lima besar pada kompetisi Creative Preneur Festifal 2016 yang diselenggarakan oleh Kadin Jawa Tengah didukung oleh Pemkot Semarang, Telkom Indonesia, Udinus, dan Suara Merdeka.

Mereka yakni Nurdin Aprilian Hidayat (ketua) mahasiswa Fakiultas Teknik (FT), Fitriana Puspitarani (FIK), dan Naella Ayu Desytasari (FE) meraih juara harapan II atau lima besar kategori Ide Star Up Umum dengan judul “YO-REPAIR”. Kegiatan berlangsung 8-9 November di MG Setos Hotel, Semarang.

Nurdin Aprilian Hidayat menyampaikan, kegiatan ini merupakan kompetisi bagi wirausaha muda untuk mengembangkan ide dan gagasannya di bidang star up aplikasi IT. Ada tiga kategori yaitu ide start up pelajar, ide start up umum, dan prototype start up.

Kegiatan ini merupakan upaya untuk mewujudkan Kota Semarang sebagai digital city dengan mengembangkan bisnis start up. Sebanyak 150 tim dari seluruh Indonesia mengusulkan proposal start up mereka dan diseleksi menjadi 15 tim untuk mempresentasikan karyanya.

Menurut Nurdin, ide ini berawal dari masalah sulitnya mencari tempat perbaikan barang-barang rusak yang terjangkau dari segi tempat, waktu, tenaga, dan biaya.

Kami menawarkan ide start up dengan membuat platform yang bisa menghubungkan pengguna jasa perbaikan dan penyedia jasa perbaikan.

Sasaran awal kami yakni untuk mahasiswi dan ibu rumah tangga, sebab kelompok masyarakat tersebut sering mengalami kesulitan ketika barang-barang yang biasa mereka gunakan mengalami kerusakan.

Diharapkan melalui kegiatan ini, ide yang diusulkan oleh finalis dapat di-launching dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat di Kota Semarang pada khususnya, terutama dalam mendukung program Pemkot Semarang untuk mewujudkan Semarang Digital City.

Selain berkompetisi, para finalis juga ikut berdiskusi dengan staf ahli Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika, Lies Sutjiati untuk membangun kritik dan saran dalam melaksanakan misi pemerintah untuk menciptakan 1.000 technopreneur hingga tahun 2020 mendatang.
