Mahasiswa Unnes Jualan Es Lilin Tidak Malu

Mahasiswa menjadi wirausaha tidaklah sulit asal ada kemauan dan tekat terjun menekuninya. Selain itu, juga budaya malu harus dihilangkan dari diri sendiri.

Itu, sudah dicoba oleh Huda Arifatul Wahdah mahasiswa Jurusan Akuntansi Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) bersama teman-temannya dengan berjualan ‘Es Lilin’ di kampus.

Menurut Wahdah (sapaan sehari-hari) ‘Es Lilin’ ini saya buat sendiri, sementara baru kacang hijau. Untuk kedepannya akan saya buat inovasi berbagai rasa misalnya cokelat, mangga, stroberi dan lainnya.

Wahdah menyampaikan itu saat ditanya oleh Ir Sri Sayektining Rahayu MM dari Dinas Koperasi dan UMKM Jawa Tengah sebagai nara sumber pada seminar nasional kewirausahaan dengan tema “Berkarya untuk Negeri melalui Wirausaha” yang diselenggarakan oleh Hima Akuntansi Unnes, Selasa (24/11) di auditorium kampus Sekaran.

“Wirausaha ini baru memasuki bulan pertama. Tiap hari rata-rata terjual 200 biji dengan harga jual Rp 1.500/biji,” kata Wahdah. Seminar diikuti ratusan mahasiswa Unnes.

Wahdah menambahkan, mulai berwirausaha itu kuncinya tidak usah malu, juga tidak perlu menunggu modal besar. Cukup dimulai dari usaha yang kecil-kecil dan dari potensi yang ada pada kita.

Sementara itu Sri Sayektining Rahayu MM menyampaikan, sebelum melakukan wirausaha harus melakukan rencana usaha atau bisnis plan.

“Ini harus dimiliki semua orang yang akan membuka usaha untuk menentukan keberhasilan usaha tersebut,” Sri Sayektining Rahayu.

Sebab, entrepreneur tidak dilahirkan berdasar pendidikan tetapi berdasarkan pengalaman, tantangan, inspirasi lapangan, dan bakat/talenta dariYang Maha Esa.

Sebelumnya, Dekan Fakultas Ekonomi Dr Wahyono saat membuka kegiatan menyampaikan, sampai saat ini jumlah pengangguran cukup banyak. Jika mahasiswa mulai dari sekarang tidak belajar wirausaha, ketika lulus nanti malah menambah pengangguran.

Untuk itu, mulai sekarang mari belajar berwirausaha mulai dari yang kecil-kecil dulu, dan jangan miner serta malu jika usahanya ingin maju, ajak Dr Wahyono kepada mahasiswa.
