Mahasiswa UNNES GIAT 13 Desa Babadan Ikut Sukseskan Kegiatan Sambang Desa di Batang

Mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) yang tergabung dalam Program GIAT 13 Desa Babadan ikut ambil bagian dalam kegiatan Sambang Desa 2025 bertema “Menuju Desa Berdaya dan Berbudaya”. Acara yang digelar oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Batang ini berlangsung di Lapangan Desa Babadan, Kecamatan Limpung, pada Senin (20/10/2025).

Kegiatan tersebut menjadi ajang kolaborasi antara pemerintah daerah, perguruan tinggi, dan masyarakat dalam mendorong pembangunan desa yang lebih partisipatif dan berkelanjutan.

Sambang Desa merupakan agenda tahunan Pemkab Batang untuk mendekatkan diri dengan masyarakat, mendengarkan aspirasi secara langsung, sekaligus memberikan berbagai layanan publik. Mahasiswa UNNES turut berperan dalam membantu jalannya kegiatan sekaligus memeriahkan suasana.

Acara dimulai sejak pagi dengan senam bersama yang diikuti masyarakat, perangkat desa, dan jajaran pemerintah kabupaten. Setelah itu, Bupati Batang M. Faiz Kurniawan membuka kegiatan secara resmi. Dalam sambutannya, ia menekankan pentingnya pendidikan dan inovasi sebagai kekuatan utama kemajuan desa.

Usai pembukaan, acara dilanjutkan dengan doa bersama, penyampaian aspirasi warga, penyerahan bantuan sosial, dan peninjauan stan layanan publik serta bazar UMKM. Bupati juga mengunjungi area pameran hasil pemberdayaan masyarakat Desa Babadan yang menjadi salah satu kebanggaan warga setempat.

Mahasiswa UNNES GIAT 13 turut berperan sebagai panitia lapangan, tim dokumentasi, sekaligus pendamping masyarakat dalam memperkenalkan produk-produk UMKM lokal. Salah satu peserta GIAT 13, Putri Anindya, mengaku senang bisa terlibat langsung dalam kegiatan tersebut.

“Kami merasa diterima banget oleh masyarakat. Dari sini kami belajar banyak tentang bagaimana potensi desa bisa dikembangkan lewat kolaborasi dan semangat gotong royong,” ungkap Putri.

Kehadiran mahasiswa UNNES tak hanya menambah semarak acara, tetapi juga menunjukkan semangat generasi muda untuk ikut terlibat dalam pembangunan desa. Dengan semangat konservasi dan pemberdayaan, mahasiswa berupaya membantu masyarakat mengenali potensi lokal, mengembangkan ide kreatif, dan menumbuhkan kemandirian desa secara berkelanjutan.
