Mahasiswa UNNES Gelar Bimtek Komunikasi Alternatif SSTV di SDN Sadeng 03 Kota Semarang

Mahasiswa PPG Prajabatan UNNES Angkatan 2 melaksanakan kegiatan bimtek bertajuk “Komunikasi Alternatif Di Situasi Darurat Melalui Pemanfaatan SSTV” di SDN Sadeng 03 kecamatan Gunung Pati, Kota Semarang pada Sabtu (22/7/2023)

Kegiatan ini diinisiasi oleh mahasiswa yang sedang melaksanakan Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) di SDN Sadeng 03 yang di koordinatori oleh Havid Adhitama dan tujuh rekannya yaitu Roisul Fikri, Irma Sulistiani, Paramitha Bella, Damayanti, Siti Mu’afiah, Lailatul M, dan Haniva Mufidiannisa.

“Bimtek ini kami laksanakan sebagai sarana bertukar pengalaman antara calon guru dengan para guru senior di Sekolah. Selain itu, topik komunikasi darurat saat ini masih sangat jarang dibahas di dunia pendidikan, padahal upaya mitigasi pada situasi krisis mesti dipertimbangkan guna keberlangsungan dan keselamatan warga sekolah termasuk peserta didik di dalamnya,” Ujar Havid.

Pada Bimtek yang dilaksanakan, para guru SDN Sadeng 03 mendapatkan paparan materi terkait alternatif komunikasi ketika jaringan digital terrestrial lumpuh akibat bencana atau situasi krisis. Di dalamnya meliputi materi terkait tata cara penggunaan radio komunikasi berupa HT dan juga pengiriman gambar tanpa internet.

“Guru-guru kami ajak untuk mempraktikan secara langsung cara berkirim dan menerima gambar melalui radio HT, kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan mengonversi gambar menjadi suara dan sebaliknya dengan teknik SSTV” ungkap Roisul Fikri.

Kepala SDN Sadeng 03, Galih Suci Pratama memberikan tanggap positif terkait kegiatan ini.

“Kegiatan yang dilakukan cukup menarik terutama dalam upaya penanganan pembelajaran saat tanggap bencana. Meskipun kita tidak berharap situasi darurat tersebut terjadi, setidaknya hal tersebut membuat kami para guru siap dan memiliki referensi alternatif di situasi krisis,” ungkapnya.

Harapannya, kegiatan ini dapat bermanfaat untuk Guru SDN Sadeng 03 kedepan. Kemudian bisa mendorong mahasiswa lainnya untuk mengangkat topik krusial yang jarang menjadi pembahasan di dunia pendidikan dalam rangka menambah kompetensi guru professional.
