Mahasiswa UNNES Blusukan, Sosialisasikan Bahaya Narkoba

Mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) lakukan blusukan sosialisasikan bahaya narkoba di Dusun Bobang, Desa Campurejo, Kecamatan Boja, Kabupaten Kendal , Minggu (4/09) di serambi masjid setempat.

Kegiatan ini dalam rangka Kuliah Keja Nyata (KKN) Revolusi Mental yang canangkan oleh UNNES. Sasaran utama sosialisasi ini adalah remaja, karena usia remaja merupakan masa dimana mereka akan sangat mudah untuk terjerumus pada kenakalan remaja dan terjebak di narkoba.

Seperti diketahui peredaran Narkoba di Indonesia semakin meningkat dan mengkhawatirkan terlebih saatini Indonesia dinyatakan Darurat Narkoba. Hal tersebut cukup beralasan dengan ditangkapnya peredaran Narkoba yang jumlahnya cukup fantastis.

Saat memberikan materi bahaya narkoba Sri Maryuni, Mahasiswa Jurusan Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat menjelaskan, upaya pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkoba merupakan hal paling penting dalam pemberantasan narkoba. Sebab Indonesia dianggap pasar yang basah bagi para produsen dan bandar-bandar narkotika. Banyaknya jenis baru dari narkoba, bukan tidak mungkin pengedar akan bilang bahwa ini suplemen supaya lebih banyak yang tertarik.

Kita berharap, dengan pemahaman dan pengetahuan bahaya narkoba, para remaja disini dapat membentengi dirinya dan menjauhi narkotika.

Tidak hanya Sri Maryuni, tampil juga Retno Arini mahasiswa dari PG PAUD FIP. Ia memaparkan, pada awalnya remaja yang mengkonsumsi narkoba biasanya diawali dengan perkenalannya dengan rokok yang dianggap wajar. Dari kebiasaan inilah, pergaulan terus meningkat, apalagi ketika pelajar tersebut bergabung ke dalam lingkungan orang-orang yang sudah menjadi pencandu narkoba. Awalnya mencoba, lalu kemudian mengalami ketergantungan.

Melihat kegiatan diatas pembina Karang Taruna Ikatan Remaja Bobang (IRBA) Turut Prambudi, menyambut gembira dengan adanya sosialisasi yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa KKN UNNES. “Saya mewakili warga Bobang senang dengan hadirnya mahasiswa dikampung kami. Saya berharap remaja Bobang lebih mengerti tentang bahaya narkoba dan bisa menjauhi. Harapan ke depan kegiatan KKN seperti ini bisa dilanjutkan di kemudian hari”, pungkasnya.
