Mahasiswa UNNES Berhasil Raih Medali Emas Ajang Creation, Innovation Technology and Research 2023 Di Malaysia

Mahasiswa Program Studi Teknik Informatika Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Fauzan Ali Vijsma, berhasil meraih medali emas dalam acara Creation, Innovation Technology and Research 2023 yang diadakan oleh Universiti Malaysia Pahang pada tanggal 12-14 Maret 2023.

Fauzan tergabung dalam tim yang terdiri dari 4 orang, termasuk Associate Professor Dr Yudi Fernando dari Fakultas Industrial Manajemen UMP, Fineke Mergeresa yang merupakan alumnus Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Andalas, dan Nia Maimunah yang merupakan mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Bisnis Universitas Andalas.

Acara ini diikuti oleh peserta dari berbagai negara, terutama di Asia. Dalam acara tersebut, tim berhasil memenangkan medali emas berkat proyek mereka yang berhasil dikembangkan. Fauzan Ali Vijsma sendiri berperan penting sebagai Co-Inventor dalam pengembangan sistem 2RELOGCARCHAIN yang menggunakan teknologi blockchain untuk menghitung dan memantau jejak karbon dengan sistem database blockchain.

Proyek ini menjadi solusi bagi perusahaan dalam mengurangi dampak lingkungan dan menjaga keberlanjutan lingkungan melalui pengurangan jejak karbon yang dihasilkan. Tim berhasil menciptakan sebuah sistem yang dapat membantu perusahaan dalam mengurangi dampak lingkungan dengan memanfaatkan teknologi blockchain.

Keberhasilan ini menunjukkan bahwa teknologi blockchain dapat memberikan solusi bagi masalah lingkungan. Universitas Negeri Semarang bangga dengan prestasi Fauzan dan timnya dalam meraih medali emas di acara tersebut. Keberhasilan mereka patut diapresiasi dan memberikan inspirasi bagi mahasiswa lain di Indonesia untuk terus berinovasi dan berkreasi di bidang teknologi.
