Mahasiswa Seni Tari Raih Juara di National Folklore Festival 2025

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) berhasil meraih gelar Juara I dalam ajang National Folklore Festival ke-19 kategori Tari Tradisional Tingkat Universitas. Kompetisi yang berlangsung pada 26-27 Februari 2024 di Student Center Universitas Indonesia ini diikuti oleh 19 perguruan tinggi dari seluruh Indonesia.

Selain menjadi juara utama, UNNES juga memborong penghargaan lain, yakni Best Kostum dan Best Coreography, mengukuhkan posisi mereka sebagai tim tari terbaik dalam ajang ini. Sementara itu, Juara II diraih oleh Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang, sedangkan Juara III ditempati oleh Universitas Sanata Dharma. Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia dan Universitas Soegijapranata masing-masing meraih Harapan I dan Harapan II, sementara Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang juga mendapatkan penghargaan Juara Favorit.

Pada kompetisi ini, UNNES menampilkan karya tari kreasi berjudul Anutzavah, yang menggambarkan perjalanan batin seseorang dalam menghadapi ekspektasi, ketakutan, dan pencarian jati diri hingga akhirnya mencapai titik pelepasan. Tarian ini ditarikan oleh lima mahasiswa Pendidikan Seni Tari Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni UNNES, yakni Ade Irma Dyan Whista Wardani, Ni Ketut Suryaningrum, Yesuana Gita Pintaningtyas, Seto Ferdiansyah, dan Immanuel Ananda Ista Kurniawan. Koreografi Anutzavah diciptakan oleh Immanuel Ananda Ista Kurniawan, dengan komposer Dewayana Panji Gautama. Karya ini didukung oleh dua dosen pembimbing, yakni Sestri Indah Pebrianti, S.Pd., M.A., dan Dr. Wahyu Lestari.

National Folklore Festival merupakan ajang tahunan yang diadakan oleh Universitas Indonesia untuk melestarikan dan mengembangkan seni budaya Nusantara. Kompetisi ini menjadi wadah bagi mahasiswa dari berbagai perguruan tinggi untuk menampilkan kreativitas dan interpretasi baru terhadap kekayaan tari tradisional Indonesia.

Dukungan terhadap SDGs poin 4 tercermin dalam keberhasilan mahasiswa menjuarai berbagai kompetisi, baik di tingkat nasional maupun internasional. Prestasi tersebut menunjukkan efektivitas proses pendidikan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan akademik, kreativitas, serta keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kolaboratif. Kompetisi menjadi wadah pembelajaran yang menantang dan mendorong mahasiswa untuk terus berinovasi, sekaligus mencerminkan sistem pendidikan yang mendorong pencapaian potensi maksimal setiap individu.

Dengan keberhasilan ini, UNNES semakin menegaskan kiprahnya dalam dunia seni tari nasional. Para pemenang diharapkan dapat terus berkontribusi dalam mempromosikan seni dan budaya Indonesia, baik di tingkat nasional maupun internasional.
