Mahasiswa S2 Pendidikan Kejuruan KKL ke Thailand

Mahasiswa program Studi (prodi) S2 Pendidikan Kejuruan Program Pascasarjana (PPs) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) melakukan Kuliah Kerja Lapangan (KKL) ke beberapa lembaga di Thailand.

Rombongan dipimpin oleh Kapala prodi S2 Pendidikan Kejuruan Dr Ir Rodia Syamwil MPd dengan perwakilan mahasiswa angkatan 2013 diantaranya Edy Ismail, Monelis Widyatama, Lydia Ike Nuryani, Neny Sulistiyani, Armawati, Sri Sumaryani, Dwi Sulistiono, Imam Ghozali, Muhammad Nasif Averus, Budi Agus Setiawan, Rahma Aditia Puspita, dan Dewi Hasanah.

Dr Rodia Syamwil menyampaikan, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan internasional kepada mahasiswa tentang kondisi negara lain. Selain itu, KKL dilakukan untuk mengetahui isu terkini tentang Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) di kawasan Asia Pasifik menghadapi Asian Economic Community (AEC) tahun 2016.

Menurut Dr Rodia Syamwil, kunjungan ini juga berhasil menyepakati kerjasama antara Unnes dengan TVET UNESCO dan Minburi Technical College.

Lembaga yang dikunjungi diantaranya ke Kedutaan Besar Republik Indonesia diterima oleh Pimpinan Atase Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Dr Yunardi MPd. Dia memaparkan tentang Pendidikan Kejuruan di Thailand, sekaligus membandingkan dengan kondisi di Indonesia.

Hal yang paling berkesan yakni adanya Konsep OTOP (One Tambun One Product) atau setiap Kampung menghasilkan Satu Produk Unggulan, yang sangat berhasil di Thailand.

Kemudian, mengunjungi ke Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) UNESCO Bangkok, diterima oleh 4 orang Perwakilan Ms Akane Nozaki (Jepang), Mr Cheol-Hee Kim atau Charlie Kim (Korea), Ms Barbara Trzmiel (Ukraina), dan Mrs Lay-Cheng Tan (Malaysia).

Juga, ke Minbury Technical Colledge. Lembaga ini mengelola pendidikan kejuruan pada 3 level, yaitu level menengah (setara SMK), Diploma, dan Politeknik, untuk bidang kejuruan Electric Power, Mechatronic, Construction, Mechanical, Information and Communication Technology, dan Bussiness Administration. Prestasi yang dicapai oleh peserta didik luar biasa, sampai tingkat dunia.

Rombongan disambut oleh Vice Director dari tiga bidang, yakni bidang Partnership and Cooperation, bidang Curriculum, bidang Kesiswaan dan Kemahasiswaan.
