Mahasiswa PPG Prajabatan UNNES Cerminkan Generasi Baru Pendidik di Indonesia

Visi Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) yaitu menjadi universitas bereputasi dunia dan pelopor kecemerlangan pendidikan yang berwawasan konservasi, menjadi spirit generasi baru pendidik termasuk mahasiswa Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPL PPG) Prajabatan UNNES di SMP N 3 Semarang.

Rudi Salam Koordinator Dosen Pembimbing Lapangan (DPL) UNNES menyampaikan rangkaian kegiatan PPL PPG dimulai pada tanggal 24 Oktober 2022 dengan diawali dengan kegiatan orientasi dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan observasi sekolah, asistensi mengajar serta praktik pembelajaran terbimbing dengan waktu berkala.

Ia menjelaskan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan menggunakan metode pembelajaran pemecahan kasus (case method) atau pembelajaran kelompok berbasis projek (team-based project) sebagai bagian bobot evaluasi, serta mengimplementasikan wawasan konservasi di sekolah Latihan sampai dengan penarikan pada Rabu, 18 Januari 2023.

Tak hanya itu, mereka juga diharapkan menjadi pendidik yang mampu mengembangkan rencana, pelaksanaan, serta evaluasi pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik dan mewujudkan profil pelajar Pancasila, lanjut Rudi Salam.

MIftahudin SPd MSi Kepala Sekolah SMP N 3 Semarang, menilai program PPG Prajabatan merupakan upaya efektif dari pemerintah dalam menjawab persediaan dan kebutuhan pendidik untuk menggantikan guru-guru yang telah memasuki masa pensiun.

“Kebijakan ini adalah ikhtiar pemerintah mewujudkan keseimbangan kebutuhan guru untuk saat ini dan ke depan. Kemungkinan, banyaknya guru yang pensiun ini perlu diantisipasi dengan merekrut guru-guru baru yang professional seperti kalian ini,” kata Miftahudin.

Sutiyono SPd Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kurikulum mengapresiasi mahasiswa atas proyek video senam Profil Pelajar Pancasila serta video Pembelajaran Literasi dan Numerasi yang dipersembahkan mahasiswa praktikan kepada sekolah.

“Proyek video ini akan menjadi kenang-kenangan bagi keberlangsungan proses pembelajaran di SMP Negeri 3 Semarang” katanya.

Ada perasaan bangga bahwa saya pernah menjadi mahsiswa praktikan di salah satu sekolah ternama di Semarang. Bahkan ekspektasi muncul dari diri saya untuk mampu memberikan hal terbaik di SMP Negeri 3 Semarang. Selain itu, dengan banyaknya guru senior yang kompeten di masing-masing bidang menjadi privilise bagi kami untuk menimba ilmu sebanyak-banyaknya atas pengalaman dan dedikasi yang telah diberikan di dunia pendidikan. Program praktek lapangan (clinical practice), mahasiswa PPG Prajabatan akan memiliki relevansi kuat dalam mendukung spirit “satu siswa satu prestasi” bisa melekat dan terus melekat di benak siswa, guru PPL PPG ini mampu menjunjung tinggi asas kebhinekaan, memberikan semangat baru bahwa potensi bisa berkembang dengan adanya wadah bagi masing-masing talenta, terangDevina Rainy Gunawan salah satu siswa SMP N 3 Semarang.
