Mahasiswa PKn UNNES Sabet Dua Kejuaraan Nasional di Malang

Tiga mahasiswa Jurusan Politik dan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) Fakultas ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) berhasil menjadi jawara dalam beberapa ajang kompetisi yang diselenggarakan oleh Universitas Negeri Malang pada Rabu hingga Jumat (25-27/10).

Tim yang beranggotakan Dwi Hermawan, Daniar Solekha, dan Mohammad Zacki Pratama tersebut berhasil meraih dua kejuaraan sekaligus. Mereka berhasil meraih juara 2 dalam lomba Projek Kewarganegaraan dan juara 3 lomba Dialog Interaktif tingkat nasional.

Perlombaan ini merupakan rangkaian dari kegiatan pekan kebangsaan yang merupakan agenda tahunan Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) untuk menyambut Dies Natalis ke-63 UM.

Sebelum memasuki babak final, ketiganya diharuskan membuat karya tulis dan laporan pelaksanaan projek untuk dapat terpilih sebagai finalis perlombaan.

“Untuk lomba dialog, kami mengusung tema “Media Sosial dalam Persepektif Kewarganegaraan: Merekatkan Indonesia dan Mencegah Radikalisme melalui Kulturisasi Nilai-nilai Pancasila”, sementara untuk lomba projek kewarganegaraan kami memilih tema pelaporan “Praktik Bela Negara Muda melalui Pendidikan Generasi Muda dan Kepramukaan (PGMK) pada Prodi PPKn UNNES tahun 2015” yang memang saat ini memiliki urgensi tersendiri bagi bangsa Indonesia,” jelas Dwi.

Ketiga mahasiswa PPKn semester lima ini berharap, pencapaian tersebut dapat memotivasi diri dan teman-teman mahasiswa lainnya.

“Tentunya, kami berharap apa yang kami dapatkan di UM dapat menjadi salah satu bahan pengembangan bagi kami dan teman-teman mahasiswa lainnya” jelas Zacki.

Menurut mereka, keberhasilan tersebut tidak hanya murni usaha tim semata, namun juga karena dukungan dari banyak pihak,

“Alhamdulillah kami mendapat dukungan dari berbagai pihak termasuk dari bapak ibu dosen pembimbing. Mulai dari penyusunan karya tulis dan pelaporan hingga tahap presentasi kami selalu dibimbing, “ jelas Daniar.

Wakil Rektor bidang Kemahasiswaan UNNES Dr Bambang Budi Raharjo MSi , Wakil Dekan bidang Kemahasiswaan Fakultas Ilmu Sosial UNNES Drs Ngabiyanto MSi, dan Ketua Jurusan PKn Drs Tijan MSi mengapresiasi capaian tersebut.

“Kami selalu mendukung upaya pengembangan diri bagi mahasiswa, salah satunya melalui kompetisi dan perlombaan semacam ini. Menuju Universitas bereputasi Internasional, UNNES terus berkomitmen untuk memberikan pelayanan prima dan terbaik termasuk dalam usaha memfasilitasi keikutsertaan mahasiswa dalam kompetisi baik ditingkat nasional maupun internasional,“ jelas Wakil Dekan bidang Kemahasiswaan Fakultas Ilmu Sosial UNNES Drs Ngabiyanto MSi.
