Mahasiswa PGSD Dampingi ABK Untuk Berkarya

Penanaman karakter Cinta budaya sudah sepantasnya ditanamkan sejak dini. Siapapun orangnya, apapun keadaanya memiliki hak yang sama untuk memeroleh pendidikan budaya. Tak terkecuali mereka para anak penyandang kebutuhuhan khusus (ABK ) atau dengan istilah lain bisa disebut sebagai anak difabel.

ABK merupakan anak berkebutuhan khusus yakni anak yang berbeda karena memiliki perbedaan interpersonal maupun intrapersonal sehingga ia mengalami kesulitan dalam berinteraksi dan memerlukan layanan khusus. Sedangkan istilah difabel merupakan singkatan dari difference ability yakni seseorang yang memiliki kemampuan berbeda dengan orang normal lain.

Walaupun mereka berbeda mereka juga berhak mendapat pendidikan budaya. Namun, hal tersebut masih banyak dihiraukan. Pendidikan budaya masih menjadi hal nomor dua yang harus ditanamkan kepada siswa setelah pengetahuan atau kognitif. Apalagi bagi mereka para ABK, masih banyak anggapan bahwa potensi ABK untuk berprestasi itu merupakan sebuah hal yang mendekati ketidakmungkinan. Untuk bisa mendapat pengetahuan kognitif saja sudah untung, masalah afektif itu hal belakangan.

Melihat hal tersebut, mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang merasa tergerak untuk bersama-sama memberikan upaya penanaman karakter Cinta budaya kepada mereka para difabel. Melalui kegiatan Pekan Seni dan Budaya Inspiratif yang diadakan di SLB N Kota Tegal, mahasiswa-mahasiswa ini memberikan upaya penanaman karakter Cinta budaya Jawa kepada para siswa difabel melalui kegiatan pelatihan seni.

Kegiatan ini dilakukan setiap hari jumat pagi. Anak-anak terlihat sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan yang diadakan. Terdapat 3 bentuk pelatihan yang diajarkan, hal tersebut disesuaikan dengan kondisi anak. Pelatihan tari kreasi tradisional diajarkan kepada mereka para penyandang difabel kategori B dan C (tuna rungu wicara dan tuna grahita). Sedangkan untuk anak kategori A (tuna Netra) mereka mendapat pelatihan vokal berupa menyanyi tembang dolanan serta geguritan. Selain kedua pelatihan tersebut, para mahasiswa juga mengajarkan pelatihan keterampilan seperti menggambar batik, wayang, membuat bingkai rumah djoglo, dan lain sebagainya.

Ketua kegitan Mulki Adilah Hartiana Mahasiswa PGSD berharap, melalui kegiatan berseni anak-anak difabel dapat mengenal budayanya (budaya Jawa) dan ke depannya mereka akan mencintai dan turut melestarikan budaya yang mereka miliki ini.

Dan bukti bawa ABK bisa berkarya akan ditunjukkan pada puncak acara pementasan seni dan budaya oleh siswa SLB Kota Tegal dan SDN Kalinyamat Kulon 3(SD Inklusi) pada 13 Juni 2017.
