Mahasiswa KKN Kecamatan Pringapus Pamerkan Produk Unggulan

Mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) bersama Kelompok Upaya Peningkatan Pendapatan Keluarga Sejahtera (UPPKS) Kecamatan Pringapus Kabupaten Semarang gelar produk unggulan di halaman Kecamatan Pringapus Kabupaten Semarang, Rabu (25/9).

Dalam kegiatan tersebut, dipamerkan produk-produk unggulan dari 7 desa di kecamatan Pringapus. “Salah satunya adalah pupuk cair organik yang terbuat dari urine kelinci,” kata Koordinator mahasiswa Kecamatan (Kormacam) Pringapus Kabupaten Semarang M Rizal.

Bukan hanya itu, aneka makanan tradisional, souvenir, dan beberapa kerajinan dari limbah pabrikpun ikut dipamerkan pada acara bertema “Melalui UPPKS Kita Tingkatkan Kesejahteraan Keluarga Untuk Mewujudkan Keluarga Kecil Bahagia dan Sejahtera. “Semua produk yang dipamerkan merupakan hasil kerajinan yang dibuat oleh kelompok PKK yang merupakan kader UPPKS Kecamatan Pringapus,” kata mahasiswa jurusan Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat itu.

Selain untuk memberdayakan potensi desa di kecamatan Pringapus, melalui kegiatan ini Rizal berharap masyarakat sadar akan potensi yang ada di Kecamatan Pringapus sehingga tambah semangat mengembangkan usaha yang telah dilakukan. “Selain itu, diharapkan dapat memberi kebermanfaatan yang besar bagi peningkatan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM),” ujarnya didampingi 49 mahasiswa KKN di Kecamatan Pringapus.

Camat Pringapus Mudi SH sangat mengapresiasi dan mendukung apa yang dilakukan mahasiswa KKN karena diakui bahwa banyak manfaat yang di hasilkan dari program KKN yang dilaksanakan mahasiswa dalam pembanguan masyarakat diwilayahnya.

Dikatakan, Pemerintah kecamatan Pringapus berkomitmen kuat untuk membangun dan memberdayakan masyarakat secara optimal, termasuk melalui pembangunan pada sektor ekonomi masyarakat.

“Penanganan kemiskinan perlu diperbaiki melalui penguatan kelembagaan ekonomi masyarakat,” ujarnya.

Karenanya Muhdi berharap, kegiatan ini akan membawa kemajuan khususnya bagi warga masyarakat Kecamatan Pringapus. Sehingga pada akhirnya mampu menumbuhkan kembali semangat gotong royong di masyarakat yang mulai mengendur. “Mahasiswa Unnes merupakan masyarakat ilmiah yang akan memberikan berbagai konsep dan teori yang berkaitan dengan pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat,” jelasnya.

Zaenal, Kepala Desa Pringsari Kecamatan Pringapus mengatakan di desa nya memiliki potensi sumber daya ekonomi yang bisa dikembangkan. Salah satunya usaha pembuatan pupuk cair organik yang terbuat dari urine kelinci. “Ini perlu dukungan dan pendampingan dari mahasiswa KKN, sehingga layak dan laku dipasarkan di pasaran umum,” katanya.
