Mahasiswa Ilmu Komputer UNNES Raih Juara 1 Kompetisi Periksa Fakta Sosial Media Tingkat Nasional

Fiskal Purbawan, mahasiswa jurusan Ilmu Komputer Fakultas Matematika Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam) Universitas Negeri Semarang (FMIPA UNNES) berhasil meraih juara 1 Kompetisi Periksa Fakta #SocialMedia4Peace tingkat Nasional.

Kompetisi Periksa Fakta #SocialMedia4Peace diselenggarakan oleh Masyarakat Anti Fitnah Indonesia (MAFINDO) bersama The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) dan didukung oleh European Union (Uni Eropa).

Kompetisi #SocialMedia4Peace digelar dalam dua kategori, yaitu Kompetisi Konten #SocialMedia4Peace dan Kompetisi Periksa Fakta dengan Tema Perdamaian.

Kompetisi ini diikuti oleh 97 peserta dari seluruh Indonesia yaitu Jakarta, Jawa Tengah, Jawa Barat, Bengkulu, Nusa Tenggara Barat, Bali, Jawa Timur, Sulwesi Tenggara, Sumatera Utara, Kalimantan Barat, Sumatera Selatan, Banten, Kalimantan Selatan, Sumatera Barat, Lampung, sampai Papua.

Fiskal berhasil meraih juara 1 dan juuara 2 diperoleh mahasiswa Politeknik Siber dan Sandi Negara dan juara 3 diperoleh mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia.

Fikal mengatakan puas dengan pencapaian ini yang merupakan hasil dari persiapan yang akhirnya meraih hasil yang membanggakan.

“Saya bersyukur dan merasa puas dengan hasil perlombaan ini. Mudah mudah ini dapat menjadi motivasi bagi saya khususnya dan teman-teman yang lain dalam semangat memicu langkah-langkah baru selanjutnya dalam menggapai prestasi,” jelas Fikal dengan bangga, Jumat (12/8).

Sementara itu, Rektor UNNES yang menerima kabar tersebut menyampaikan apresiasi kepada Fiskal Purbawan. Rektor mendorong seluruh mahasiswa UNNES memiliki kesempatan yang sama dalam meraih prestasi di berbagai bidang.

Prof Fathur juga terus mendorong mahasiswa tidak hanya belajar di kampus saja, tetapi juga untuk meningkatkan kapasitas diri dan meraih prestasi di berbagai bidang, apalagi kesempatan tersebut didukung dengan adanya Program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM).

“Kelak berbagai penghargaan yang telah diperoleh mahasiswa selama ini bukan sekadar seremonial saja, tetapi akan bermanfaat untuk masa depannya, setidaknya untuk pengembangan diri dalam menjalani kehidupan,” pungkas Prof Fathur.
