Mahasiswa FE UNNES Jadi Delegasi di Makau

Mahasiswi kelas bilingual Pendidikan Akuntansi terpilih untuk mengikuti International Workcamp di Macau. Uswatun Hasanah mahasiswi semester 2 melakukan proyek bersama dengan 15 sukarelawan internasional dari Macau, Jepang, Taiwan, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Korea, Cambodia, Philippines dan beberapa negara lainnya di seluruh dunia di bawah Tema “Macau International Workcamp 2017: The Feast of Na-Tcha in the Historic Centre of Macau.”

 

Proyek 10 hari ini dimulai dari 6 – 16 Juni 2017 dengan pendanaan dari Associacao de Nova Juventude Chinesa de Macau. Tahun ini fokus kegiatan tentang pelestarian budaya tradisional dan promosi warisan budaya, melalui serangkaian lokakarya, seminar, konferensi pers, gerakan bersih kota, tur warisan budaya dan partisipasi dalam parade budaya. Dengan demikian, ini memberikan kesempatan yang sangat baik bagi generasi muda untuk untuk mengenal beragam budaya, merasakan budaya “East meets west” yang unik saat bekerja sama dengan masyarakat setempat. Sebagai peserta termuda dalam acara ini, Uswatun sudah mempersiapkan diri dengan baik. Dalam sesi lokakarya, Uswatun akan mempresentasikan penelitian tentang “Jepara Kota Ukir” sebagai salah satu cara untuk melestarikan budaya lokal dan dia akan menampilkan tarian tradisional “Maumere” dalam parade budaya.

 

Proyek ini sejalan dengan visi universitas yaitu nilai konservasi salah satunya adalah pelestarian budaya. Menurut Sandy Arief, SPd MSc sebagai Koordinator Program Bilingual/Internasional menyampaikan bahwa Uswatun akan menjadi duta jurusan dan universitas yang baik di Macau. Dia sudah siap untuk mengikuti kegiatan ini setelah sebelumnya mengikuti ‘pre-departure orientation’ yang diselenggarakan oleh Tim kelas bilingual/internasional. Kisah sukses ini menambah prestasi besar lainnya yang dibuat oleh mahasiswa kelas bilingual/internasional. Pada awal Mei 2017, Sari Lestari dan Puji Novita Sari terpilih sebagai juara ketiga untuk kategori Best Paper pada International Students Discussion Forum 2017 yang diselenggarakan di UKSW Salatiga. Setelah kembali dari Macau, Uswatun akan berbagi pengalamannya di “IUP talks” untuk semua mahasiswa kelas bilingual.
