Mahasiswa Baru FBS UNNES Antusias Ikuti PKKMB 2021

Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus bagi Mahasiswa Baru (PKKMB) Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Universitas Negeri Semarang telah berlangsung pada Sabtu (21/08/2020). PKKMB FBS UNNES ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan mempersiapkan mahasiswa baru dalam proses transisi menjadi mahasiswa.

Acara PKKMB hari pertama, Jumat (20/08/2021) diisi dengan berbagai informasi terkait dengan penanaman informasi akademik, kemahasiswaan, dan informasi perkuliahan lainnnya. Acara tersebut dihadiri secara langsung oleh segenap pimpinan fakultas di dekanat Fakultas bahasa dan Seni, serta kepala jurusan, dosen, dan tendik melalui virtual meeting berlangsung dengan khidmat.

Meskipun acara pengenalan kampus masih belum dapat terlaksana secara langsung, namun tak mengurangi antusiasme mahasiswa baru yang tertib mengikuti serangkaian acara dari awal sampai akhir dalam virtual meeting yang telah disediakan.

Pembukaan PKKMB diawali dengan sambutan sekaligus pemukulan gong oleh Dekan FBS UNNES Dr Sri Rejeki Urip MHum. Dalam sambutannya beliau menyampaikan ucapan selamat datang kepada mahasiswa baru FBS tahun 2021. Beliau berharap dengan adanya PKKMB ini dapat menjadi awal pekenalan mahasiswa baru FBS dengan lingkungan kampus.

Acara ini juga dihadiri secara langsung oleh dua perwakilan mahasiswa baru FBS untuk penerimaan mahasiswa baru secara simbolis dengan pengalungan bunga oleh dekan dan satu perwakilan mahasiswa baru internasional dari Belanda yang juga menyampaikan pesannya secara virtual.

Dihadirkannya perwakilan mahasiswa baru diharapkan dapat menjadi awal perkenalan mahasiswa baru terhadap Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni. Pada PKKMB ini, mahasiswa baru juga diperkenalkan oleh kepala jurusan mengenai jurusan yang ada di FBS.

Acara pun ditutup dengan pemutaran video jingle PKKMB FBS UNNES 2021 dengan meriah oleh MC.

Acara PKKMB hari kedua, Sabtu (21/08/2021) juga tak kalah menarik. Pasalnya, hari kedua kegiatan PKKMB diisi dengan penampilan mahasiswa yakni tari tradisional dan pembacaan puisi, kreativitas FBS Grak dan Hymne, pemutaran video profil UKM, dan pengenalan Lembaga Kemahasiswaan dan Badan Seni Otonom oleh pembina dan ketua masing-masing LK dan BSO tersebut.

Selain itu juga ada talkhsow mengenai kreativitas dan berpikir kritis yang dibawakan oleh seorang pantomim bernama Wanggi Hoed. Acara talkshow sangat komunikatif karena mahasiswa baru aktif terlibat tanya jawab dengan pembicara secara langsung melalui virtual meeting.
