Mahasiswa UNNES GIAT 5 Desa Kenteng sukses selenggarakan Festival Shibori Desa Kenteng 2023 dengan tema “Shibori Cultur Fest : Gemah Ripah Desa Kenteng (12/08). Festival Shibori dibuka langsung oleh Camat Bandungan, Moh. Taufiq, S.Sos, M.M dan didampingi oleh Dosen Pendamping Lapangan (DPL), Nurdian Susilowati, S.Pd, M.Pd. Lokasi kegiatan berada di Gazebo Sah Gede Dusun Karanglo. Festival ini dihadiri oleh Staff Akademik Pusbang KKN, Tim dosen Fakultas Ekonomika & Bisnis UNNES, Kapolres, Danramil, Tim Penggerak PKK Se-kecamatan Bandungan, Kepala Desa & Perangkat Desa Kenteng, Kepala Desa Se-Kecamatan Bandungan, dan peserta festival.

Festival Shibori merupakan event puncak program kerja UNNES GIAT 5 Desa Kenteng. Tujuannya yaitu untuk pelestarian dan branding kain shibori yang merupakan produk lokal Desa Kenteng sehingga dapat dikenal pada level nasional. Produk kain Shibori dikembangkan oleh Kelompok Lansia Sidomaju yang memberdayaan masyarakat Lansia desa. Shibori sendiri merupakan sebuah teknik pewarnaan kain dengan cara ikat celup sehingga menghasilkan desain yang indah.

Salah satu pengelola bisnis shibori mengatakan bahwa acara Festival Shibori Desa Kenteng ini sangat membantu branding bisnis shibori ke kancah yang lebih luas, juga dapat meningkatkan penjualan dan branding shibori sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan bisnisnya.

“Saya sangat berterima kasih kepada Tim UNNES GIAT 5 bisa membuat acara Festival Shibori benar-benar meriah, sehingga masyarakat luar mengenal kain shibori khas Desa Kenteng,” Jelas Ibu Rubiyati

Rangkaian festival shibori yakni pertama kontes fashion show Shibori bagi siswa TK, SD, SMP, SMA/ sederajat, dan umum. Kedua, lomba mewarnai bagi siswa TK/SD, dan ketiga lomba video pilah sampah.

Acara semakin meriah dengan adanya penampilan tarian dan nyanyian dari mahasiswa KKN serta pemberian apresiasi atas kontes/lomba.

Festival ini memberikan gambaran sinergitas mahasiswa, pemerintah Desa & kecamatan, serta masyarakat dalam mengembangkan potensi Desa dan mengenalkannya pada khalayak umum. (NS)
