Cirebon, lp2m.unnes.ac.id. Sebagai tindak lanjut dari upaya untuk lebih meningkatkan program KKN, hari ini Tanggal 19 April 2018 Lemabaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LP2M) UNNES yang diwakili oleh Sekretaris LP2M Dr. Suwito Eko Pramono, M.Pd, Kepala Pusat Pengembangan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KaPusbang KKN) Dr. M. Burhan Rubai Wijaya dan Staf akademik Ahmad Yulianto, bersilaturahim ke pemerintah Kabupaten Cirebon bersama dengan Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). Silaturahim tersebut dalam rangka memenuhi undangan audiensi dari pemerintah Kabupaten Cirebon. Audiensi ini diharapkan dapat berpartisipasi mensukseskan program pembangunan di Kabupaten Cirebon dengan program pengabdian masyarakat melalui kegiatan KKN mahasiswa UPI yang berkolaborasi dengan mahasiswa UNNES.

Dalam sambutannya bupati Cirebon, Selly Andriany Gantyna menyampaikan bahwa permasalahan yg ada di Cirebon di antranya adalah: rendahnya tingkat pendidikan dan tingginya tingkat perceraian (peringkat 4 se Indonesia). Diharapkan kemitraan yang terjalin dengan Perguruan Tinggi UNNES dan UPI bisa membantu mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, di waktu yang sama bupati menambahkan perlunya program yang bisa meningkatkan SDM aparatur sipil negara.

“UNNES sudah berkontribusi dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat baik melalui penelitian, pengabdian, desa binaan maupun KKN.” ujar Sekretaris LP2M UNNES. Sementara itu kapusbang KKN menyampaikan contoh-contoh desa yang telah diberdayakan seperti Desa Kandri, Malon, Trisobo, Kampung Layak Anak, dsb. Pada intinya diharapkan pengalaman-pengalaman tersebut bisa diaplikasikan di Cirebon. (AY/ZI)
