Leo Dan Camille Bawa Kenangan Indah Unnes Ke Filipina

Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) melepas dua mahasiswa asal Filipina di Gedung Serbaguna Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan (FIK), Rabu (4/2).

Masa student exchange bagi dua mahasiswa Darmasiswa Leo Sentilliana dan Camille Anne Gomez dari Mindanau State University Philippine telah usai. Kedua mahasiswa asal Filipina tersebut dilepas oleh Pembantu Dekan III FIK, Drs Nasuka MKes.

Drs Nasuka MKes, dalam sambutannya memberikan pesan kepada Leo dan Camille, kelak setelah meninggalkan Indonesia semoga ilmu yang didapat selama belajar di Unnes akan diterapkan dan ditularkan kepada rekan-rekan mahasiswa di Filipina.

Leo dan Camille belajar di Unnes sejak Oktober 2014 hingga Februari 2015 dalam progam Darmasiswa “Sport Students Excharge” bidang keolahragaan dan budaya Indonesia diantaranya mempelajari Budaya, Pendidikan Jasmani Kesehatan dan Rekreasi, Sport Skill yang meliputi belajar batik, bahasa Indonesia, tari, sepak takraw, badminton pencak silat, woodball, tonis, dan beberapa olahraga tradisional yang ada di Indonesia.

Berkesempatan untuk maju ke podium, Camille mengungkapkan rasa bahagianya selama belajar di Unnes. Banyak kenangan yang tak bisa dilupakan, salah satunya saat belajar membatik dan belajar Tonnis permainan olahraga yang lahir di Unnes.

“Saya senang belajar di Unnes. Berat sebenarnya bagi kami meninggalkan Unnes, tapi karena tugas di Filipina sudah menanti, maka kami harus kembali,” tutur Camille saat memaparkan pesan kesannya selama belajar di Unnes.

Pada saat presentasi yang sama, Leo juga mengungkapkan kenangannya selama belajar di Unnes, baginya biaya hidup di Unnes murah dan makanan yang disediakan beraneka ragam.

“Saya suka sekali soto, dan itu adalah makanan pertama yang saya makan setelah tiba di Unnes. Beruntung teman-teman di Unnes baik, sehingga saya selalu diantar jika ada kebutuhan untuk keluar asrama,” Ungkap Leo penuh bahagia. (Student Staff : Aji, Intan dan Nova)

    Sebagai mahasiswa Unnes, saya bangga karena Unnes mendapat pertukaran pelajar khususnya di Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan. Suatu kebanggaan yang luar biasa. Semoga ilmu yang mereka dapat bermanfaat dan dapat dikembangkan baik di sana. Semoga Unnes kedepannya semakin baik 🙂
