Unnes Luncurkan Tiga Produk Unggulan

Badan Pengembangan Teknologi dan Informasi (BPTIK) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) meluncurkan Google Apps for Education, My Unnes, dan Forum Santai, di C7 Fakultas Ilmu Sosial (FIS) Unnes, Kamis (4/4). Peluncuran tersebut menghadirkan pembicara dari Google Singapura Pepita Gunawan, Pepen S. Diatna dari Primagin, dan Kepala BPTIK Unnes Sugiyanto MSi.

Student.unnes.ac.id dan my.unnes.ac.id merupakan inovasi Unnes yang dipelopori oleh BPTIK dan menggandeng perusahaan besar Google untuk memberikan fasilitas kepada perusahaan raksasa ini di bidang pendidikan. Secara simbolis, produk diluncurkan oleh Pembantu Rektor Bidang Pengembangan dan Kerja Sama Unnes Prof Fathur Rokhman, Sugiyanto MSi, dan Pepita Gunawan yang mengawali penayangan video profil kedua produk tersebut.

“Kolaborasi learning agar hidup lebih produktif, ini lah yang kami lakukan untuk membangun inovasi untuk terus berkembang,” kata Pepita Gunawan dalam sambutannya di forum yang di kemas santai itu.

Dalam kesempatan itu Pepita juga menambahkan kekagumanannya terhadap Unnes yang dengan gebrakkannya tak sekedar mendeklarasikan konservasi tapi juga membuktikan dengan tidak mengizinkan kendaraan umum memasuki wilayah kampus.

Prof Fathur Rokhman menyampaikan bahwa inovasi berawal dari “kegilaan” yang positif. “Inovasi merupakan harga yang mahal yang hanya dimiliki oleh orang-orang yang gila akan sesuatu yang positif dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat,” katanya.

Fasilitas ini memberikan kemudahan mahasiswa Unnes untuk mengakses sistem data diri mahasiswa, mail, dan fasilitas google education secara gratis.

“Diharapkan dengan adanya student.unnes.ac.id dan my.unnes.ac.id dapat menumbuhkan kecerian dalam teknologi informasi di bidang pendidikan,” kata Sugiyanto.

Sesuai dengan konsep acara yang dikemas santai, ratusan mahasiswa yang hadir nampak nyaman dan antusias mengikutinya. Selain disediakannya photobooth di depan ruangan, Google juga memberikan doorprise bagi peserta yang aktif dalam forum tersebut.
