Lantik Pengurus DWP UNNES, Rektor: Perkuat UNNES Melalui Peran DWP

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) menggelar upacara pelantikan 32 pengurus dan anggota baru Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) UNNES dengan tujuan memperkuat peran DWP dalam memajukan dan mengembangkan UNNES sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang unggul, Senin (29/5) bertempat di Auditorium UNNES.

Dalam acara yang dihadiri oleh sejumlah pejabat universitas dan anggota DWP, Rektor UNNES, Prof Dr Martono MSi, secara resmi melantik pengurus baru DWP UNNES. Dalam sambutannya, Rektor UNNES menyampaikan pentingnya peran DWP dalam memberdayakan perempuan di lingkungan kampus dan masyarakat.

“DWP UNNES memiliki peran strategis dalam menggerakkan dan menginspirasi perempuan di UNNES untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam pengembangan dan kemajuan institusi. DWP merupakan mitra yang tak ternilai dalam membangun karakter, kepemimpinan, serta semangat berkomunitas bagi para perempuan di UNNES,” ujar Rektor.

Rektor UNNES juga menyoroti beberapa upaya yang telah dilakukan DWP UNNES untuk memperkuat peran mereka dalam memajukan UNNES. Salah satunya adalah melalui kegiatan sosial dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. DWP UNNES diharapkan dapat berperan sebagai agen perubahan positif dalam memberikan dampak sosial yang nyata di lingkungan sekitar kampus.

Selain itu, Rektor juga menggarisbawahi pentingnya peran DWP dalam memperkuat budaya kerja dan nilai-nilai kekeluargaan di UNNES.

“DWP UNNES juga diharapkan dapat membangun hubungan yang erat bersama civitas akademika UNNES, menciptakan lingkungan yang inklusif dan harmonis,” tambah Rektor.

Ketua DWP UNNES, Ny. Karniti S Martono menyebut, DWP UNNES berkomitmen penuh dalam mendukung peran dan program kerja UNNES.

“Semoga di kepengurusan saat ini, DWP UNNES mampu memberikan inovasi, karya, dan kontribusi nyata bagi UNNES dan masyarakat sekitar,” harapnya.

Pelantikan pengurus DWP UNNES ini menjadi momen yang penting bagi UNNES dalam memperkuat komitmen untuk menciptakan lingkungan kampus yang inklusif, berdaya saing, dan berkeadilan gender. DWP UNNES diharapkan akan terus aktif dalam menginisiasi program-program yang bermanfaat bagi dosen, tendik, mahasiswa, alumni, serta masyarakat sekitar.
