Laksanakan Seminar Serentak di 13 Provinsi, Unnes Raih Rekor MURI

Rabu (30/3), Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) Program Pascasarjana (PPs) Unnes dan PPs Unnes menggelar seminar nasional serentak di 13 provinsi di Indonesia.

Seminar ini digelar pada puncak Dies Natalis Ke-51 Unnes tercatat pada Museum Rekor Indonesia (Muri) dengan kategori penyelenggaraan seminar dengan jumlah kabupaten/kota/provinsi terbanyak.

Penghargaan tersebut diserahkan oleh Eksekutif Manager Sri Widayati kepada Unnes, PPs Unnes, dan BEM PPs Unnes. Penghargaan Unnes sebagai pemerakarsa diserahkan kepada Wakil Rektor IV Prof YL Sukestiyarno MS PhD, sebagai pelaksana diserahkan kepada  Direktur PPs Prof Dr H Achmad Slamet MSi, dan sebagai pendukung diserahkan Presiden BEM PPs, Indra Kurniawan SPdi.

Seminar dilaksanakan di Kampus Unnes Jalan Kelud Semarang, dilangsungkan secara streaming yang diikuti 15 perguruan tinggi di seluruh Indonesia, yakni Universitas Swadaya Gunung Djati Cirebon (Jawa Barat), STKIP Nurul Huda Ogan Komering Ulu Timur (Sumatera Selatan), STKIP Singkawang (Kalimantan Barat), Universitas Islam Jember (Jawa Timur), dan Universitas Jambi (Jambi).

Seminar yang bertema  “Akselerasi Inovasi Pendidikan dalam Membentuk Karakter Bangsa” menghadirkan pembicara Prof Dr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (Presiden ke-6 Republik Indonesia),  Menteri Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi (Menristekdikti) Prof H Muhammad Nasir MSi Akt PhD dan Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum.

Selain itu, STKIP Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung, STKIP Bina Bangsa Getsempena Banda Aceh (Provinsi Aceh), Universitas Kader Bangsa Palembang (Sumatera Selatan), Kampus Unnes Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Tegal (Jawa Tengah), dan Universitas Pancasakti Tegal (Jawa Tengah).

Seminar tersebut terhubung di Universitas Muhammadiyah Medan (Sumatera Utara), IKIP Mataram (Nusa Tenggara Barat), Universitas Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta (Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta), Yayasan Darussalam Batam (Kepulauan Riau), dan Universitas Mulawarman Samarinda (Kalimantan Timur).

“Kami sudah menerjunkan delegasi ke tiap-tiap provinsi. Sejauh ini tak ada kendala berarti,” ungkap Direktur PPs Unnes Prof Dr Achmad Slamet MSi.

Meskipun demikian pihaknya khawatir terhadap cuaca yang dapat sewaktu-waktu berubah. “Ini bisa menganggu koneksi internet di beberapa titik pelaksanaan dan otomatis akan menggangu streaming,” katanya.

Dijelaskan Prof Achmad Slamet, seminar ini merupakan satu wahana bagi alumni PPs untuk mengemukakan pemikiran selama belajar di PPs Unnes sekaligus sebagai model terbaru dalam memberdayakan dan memberikan peran kepada alumni.

Diharapkan lulusan PPs Unnes dapat memiliki wawasan inovatif dan paparan pada seminar dapat dimuat di jurnal,” tambahnya. Muhammad Sholekan
