Kunjungi Kemenpora, Rektor UNNES Prof Fathur Rokhman Sampaikan Terima Kasih Kepada Menpora Amali Sudah Libatkan UNNES untuk Sukseskan DBON

Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman Mhum menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih kepada Menteri Pemuda dan Olahraga (Menpora) Dr H Zainudin Amali, SE Msi karena sudah mengajak perguruan tinggi terlibat dalam menyusun DBON. Hal ini disampaikan Prof Fathur Rokhman usai di terima Menpora di ruang kerjanya, Kemenpora, Jumat (7/1).

“Kami datang dengan ucapan termakasih kepada Menpora Dr H Zainudin Amali, SE MSi karena, Pak Menteri sudah melibatkan perguruan tinggi dalam menyusun Desain Besar Olahraga Nasional (DBON). Pak Menteri ini sangat terbuka kepada perguruan tinggi di Indonesia khususnya UNNES,” ucap Prof Fathur.

Menurut Prof Fathur, seluruh masyarakat Indonesia harus ambil bagian karena ini merupakan harapan besar tentang bagaimana DBON ini bisa menjadi bagian pengembangan olahraga Indonesia.

“Tentu DBON akan membangun kapasitas seluruh masyarakat, seluruh cabor unggulan dari daerah yang nanti bisa bersaing dengan masyarakat dunia,” ucap Prof Fathur.

Karena itu, dirinya pun berkomitmen untuk terus menjadi bagian dari DBON ini.

“UNNES berkomitmen untuk terus menjadi bagian dari DBON ini. Dan harapan kami di tahun 2022, kerjasama yang sudah dilakukan akan terus berjalan dan bisa membangun DBON ini sampai terimplementasi,” katanya.

Sebelumnya Menpora Dr H Zainudin Amali SE MSi mengatakan bahwa dukungan perguruan tinggi khususnya UNNES terhadap implementasi DBON sebagai perwujudan Perpres No.86 Tahun 2021 sangat diperlukan. Pasalnya, Perpres No. 86 Tahun 2021 tentang DBON ini akan jalan dengan baik di daerah-daerah terutama di 10 sentra kalau perguruan tingginya dilibatkan.

“Jawa Tengah menjadi salah satu dari 10 sentra yang ditetapkan didalam DBON. Oleh karena itu, diskusi kami dengan Pak Rektor dan ibu dekan itu sangat produktif dan mudah-mudahan di tahun 2022, Jawa Tengah khususnya UNNES akan menjadi yang terdepan untuk implementasi DBON,” katanya.

“Dan tentu saya berterima kasih Pak Rektor atas dukungannya terhadap Perpres 86 Tahun 2021 tentang DBON yang mudah-mudahan ini juga akan mendorong kabupaten-kabupaten yang ada di Jawa tengah untuk aktif mengimplementasikan DBON,” tutup Menpora.
